It's amazing. Some of you here actually think the "Sky is Falling".

Sunday night was one game. You guys will beat Atlanta and roll into the playoffs. The Cowboys needed this lose to get their heads straight going in to the strech run. One game that got away from you means nothing.

Come on guys. Where is the faith? BP is taking names. You'll no doubt get back on track this week. :p: Even if you lose, you still are not out of it. Philly has no chance.

The Cowboys will prevail. You have a great tradition. I still think it will happen. :starspin

Here is how you beat Atlanta. Stop Vick from running and make him pass.
With the LBs you have that should be easy. Vick is no Brees and Mora ain't Payton.

If the Saints did it twice, you can too. :hammer:

Spend some time around here and you will see. When Dallas wins we are off to the SB and when we lose the season is over done. Fire the coaches and get rid of the players. It truely amazes me sometimes.

I won't comment on Coach Parcells, but if we don't win the division, this will be one of the biggest choke-jobs in Cowboys history. A 2 game lead in the division with 4 games to play and 3 of them at home?

A wildcard birth to me is a failure as much as we were hyped going into the season.

So the consummate Texan, Jerry Jones, comes into the NFL light by firing one of the four greatest coaches in NFL history (Halas, Brown,Lombardi, and Landry), pays for it for years, then makes the same mistake again by firing another legendary coach. Yeah, I can see that PR nightmare easily....for the Saints or Cardinals.

No, Jerry won't make that mistake again. JMO.

And I'm not saying they will ask him to resign. This team has gotten better each year and they will be better next year. Why would you call for the resignation of a coach who appears to have found the answer at QB after a very long search, upgraded the talent of the club tremendously, and will likely take another team to the playoffs again this year.

Parcells and Jones took the longterm approach to rebuilding this team and they appear to be perhaps a couple of months to reap the reward. They should be even more legitimate contenders for the SB next year at the latest IMO. I think they have a chance this year although the loss of Ellis and the inexperience of Romo and our younger defensive players may preclude that.

You just can't take a weekly approach to winning in the NFL.

Keyword there is Should

Upgrading the talent is only part of Parcells' job.

What does it mattter if you have a good team but you never win a Playoff Game.

We have some pretty good talent, for all intents and purposes are probably the most healthiest team in the NFC and we are sitting in the driver's seat as far as winning the division with 3 games to go.

If we dont make the Playoffs, heads should roll imo. I thought heads should have rolled last year.

Oh wait they did...it's called the NO Coaching Staff ;) .

Coaching has to play into it. How else do you explain how the Saints can go from 3-13 to where they are now? Coaching? One draft? Free agents cast offs? Drew Brees? Well I guess 4 out of 4 does it every time.

Jimmy's a pipe dream and I doubt Fisher is going anywhere now that Young is starting and winning games for them.

That's OK, I've had many dreams as a result of a pipe in my day:)

I know all about HOF coach and all that, and we have more talent and all that, but the problem I would have if I were BP is, if we don't make the play offs or we're 1 and done, what does that say for what Parcells has done since he's been here?

He will be judged for 4 years of work, not just 1.

With that said which Cowboys team will show up Saturday, the one against Tampa Bay, or the one against your team don't know but that loss do put their backs towards the wall.

The trump card on defense for Atlanta, will be John Abraham, neutralize him and we will shred them and as for Hall, he's overrated but you can bet for sure he's watching that Saints, film on how to slow down Owens.

Looking forward too it and btw see ya soon.

The Saints should handle Washington, and I will become an even bigger fan of the Saints, when they play the NYFG, a week later.

The Cowboys should win in Atlanta. They should beat Philly. And they should crush the Lions.

With that said, we know what "should" happen doesn't always occur in this league.

I do look at Saturday's game as a must-win. I think a loss to a realing Atlanta team could cause this season to spiral downward.

Getting manhandled by New Orleans isn't really that big a concern. They're a good team, perhaps proven to be among the best by the way they beat the Cowboys.

Atlanta, though, isn't in that class. And with New York breathing down the Cowboys' necks, Dallas must beat Atlanta. They just must.

If not, this thing could get ugly in a hurry.

No kidding.

SaintsFanMan. Please take your magic to the Giants game so all can kill them.

If you're gonna hurt the Cowboys' playoff outlook, ya could at least help it by beating the Giants. :)

100% correct. You must be a hater Dale, as I said the same thing yesterday and was called out as being one myself. ;)

Well if you beat Atlanta... we'll handle the wimpy Skins and hopefully beat the crap out of the NYG. Hopefully that will help your chances.

Saints rated #3 and #4 in the latest power polls... all I can say is WOW.

Got to give you Payton et al have done a great job. Coach of the year stuff and more. But I don't think we axed Payton if that's what you're saying. I would be flabbergasted if we axed Parcells. Landry should have gone just to let Jones have a fresh start at putting together his own thing. It was the way it was handled that put a burr under peoples saddle.

Parcells has done a great job. Could it be better? Probably. But he's doing it his way and you have to admire the talent on the roster compared to the previous regime.

And I agree it will be a choke if we lose the division but not a huge one. Our last four opponents less Detroit are good. If we do lose the division and/or the playoffs perhaps we just aren't quite as good and consistent as that Boys 5-1 streak led us to believe.

I'm not sure I'm following you completey though, Mike.

If you continue to stay on this board there are a few things that you will learn. One of which is that people here equate power rankings with poop.

First off, if we lose to Atlanta, the season is not over. Now if we get destroyed again, that is an entirely different story. However, winning one of the next three would allow us a decent chance of getting in (not that I want to go in that way).

This is a very big game and it would sure help us in securing the division, but it's not must-win.

As for Parcells, I'm looking for at least a divisional round playoff game and a very respectable showing in the playoffs, or maybe it's time to move on. I'm hopeful of us doing more than that, but we'll see. I know we can beat anybody, and I would sure enjoy seeing Dallas go to Chicago for the championship game.

You guys are forgetting Bill's ego here. If we don't make the play-offs, or slide in as a WC and lose, Bill will walk. Bill will point the finger squarely at Jerry for signing TO and disrupting his team. The next HC, either Fisher or Jimmy, will march in and take this team to the Big Dance.

Does anyone really think Bill will let another coach come in and take HIS team to a Super Bowl before he has the chance to take them himself?
