Right now as a fan I dont feel all that good going into this game. Drew looked horrble, the defense looks vanilla with a side of Cheese and last but not least the Offensive line looked Average at best.

Now here come the Commanders. Yea they played bad and their missing key players but that doesnt matter. Dont be blinded, the Vikings Oline is 1000X better than ours and Brad plays mistake free Football. Something Bledsoe does not.

This might very well be an Upset, so dont get all crazy if we were to lose this game....Right now I'm just happy Portis and some key defensive players are hurt. We have a good chance of beating this team and it will speek volumes to our character and stregnth of the team.

Is anyone else out there worried about the skins or am I alone on this?

I don't think there is a team we don't have to worry over.
I also think we will be better than we played last week.

Fortunately fickle fans (not calling you one) are not playing Sunday night. Good teams with post-season aspirations win these type of games. Either we're contenders or pretenders. It's that simple. It's a good thing that we have more than enough motivation to beat the skins. That should offset any overconfidence from the PLAYERS AND COACHES.

Every game IMO has some doubt attached to it. Sure things are pretty rare in today's NFL.

That said, yes the Commanders pose some problems, and yes we didn't look great. But IMO Jacksonville is a better team than Minnesota. And both of our teams had chances to win those games last week.

Also this place is gonna go crazy if we lose. I have a feeling this place would go crazy if we were 15-0 then lost the last game of the season to be 15-1. Everyone would be like... "Man Bledsoe was bad... this is an ominous sign for the playoffs. I don't see how we can trust him."

This makes absolutely no sense. How does beating a team with their All Pro RB and "some key defensive" players hurt, in any way "speek volumes to our character and stregnth of the team"?

Perhaps beating them with Portis AND their key defensive players would achieve this, but sorry, I come from the old school you become the best by beating the best.

This game can give you an idea of the charcter of the Team. When the chips are on the table, Division game, after a tough loss...This is the time when good teams seperate themselves from Mediocre/Bad teams.

Lets not be Homers here. This team hasnt proven anything and infact when the chips are on the table when it most counts we lay an Egg.

The Commanders last year got back up and made it to the playoffs, they Blew us out of the water...Easilly. That shows character.

I'm just being a realist here. We have a good team with Premier players. But if you dont have it in you then you dont got crap!. That's why this game is important and can gives us a good glimpse of what's to come.

That's why they play the game...it's a great game.

The Cowboys could lose just as good as anyone else...

Or it could be an ambush...either way.

No. I honestly think that the cowboys will run right over the skins, Portis or not.

And the beauty of being a fan is even if it's the other way around you can still just think the same way before next time they meet again anyway!

I'm worried, as we all should be.

Who knew that after leading by 13 with about 4 minutes left, we would lose the game 14-13?

Nothing is for sure.

Even with Moss having an incredible fourth quarter we could have won that game had Cortez not kicked like...take your pick of Vanderjack/Sushaim/Cortez/FSU kickers from the 90s/U.Miami Kickers in the 00s

Yeah. All I'm saying that it was a very unusual end to a game.

Things just make you go, "Wow, how did that happen?"

So nothing's impossible.

I agree with you guys, we'll be in for a bad season if we lose, but it's possible.

Don't forget, Moss had to make a desperation catch on fourth down to get their first score, then they caught us napping again. I expect our secondary to be better prepared this time.

i was nervous about last weeks game. I'm not really surprised we lost. For some reason, I'm pretty confident that we will win on Sunday night and show a glimpse of why many haved picked us to win the division, on both sides of the ball.

That's hilarious. My post is a prime example of being anti homer.

Perhaps beating them with Portis AND their key defensive players would achieve this, but sorry, I come from the old school you become the best by beating the best.= anti homer

We have a good chance of beating this team and it will speek volumes to our character and stregnth of the team.= homer

Do tell how beating a team at less than full strength, speaks volumes on the strength of your own team? That is what you're saying. Just like beating up my little sister.....I'm supposed to be able to beat her up......it doesn't tell anything about how strong I am.

Commanders are no problem.
Just persuade our idiot kicker to go to their hotel Saturday night, and get everybody all liquored up(his idiot self included).
Seriously, though, Cowboys could win this game with their part-timers and practice squad guys, and I really want to see QB Matt Baker throwing TD passes to Miles Austin.

Well I'm not trying to be a homer at all. So if I came off like one I'm sorry that was not my intention. I'm realistic, as you can see from my second post ,which you completely ignored by the way.

Here lets start over. Scratch that other BS off.

Good teams find a way to win when it counts most. That is a question most teams have comming into the season.

AS a fan I'm happy Portis is out because it gives us a better chance to win. That's what we all want, a big WIn. It doesnt matter who we face or how bad they are banged up.

If we come back against the Commanders regardless who they have playing it will show us a little of what they got. That's all I'm trying to say. It's an important game and they need to perform..If they lay an egg I think that would be a shot on our team dont you think?

So how exactly am I a homer? ...Please dont take shots if your going to ignore parts of post.
