Win the next three we are likely the number one seed. AZ will stumble more. GB and Philly are in the way more IMO.
I think this is the mirror opposite of a post I made a few days ago. I think everyone fails to realize that getting a split with the Eagles would currently cost us the division if we end up in a tie with the Eagles due to division record. We would need help to win the division, and we are running out of games to get there.
That loss to the Colt McCoy led Commanders is looming large right now................unless we sweep Philly, we are going to need somebody else to beat Philly for us................I hate having to rely on help from other teams, but when you lose to Colt McCoy this is what happens.
Eagles still have 4 NFCE games. I do not see them sweeping the division. Also I think Seattle will have a solid chance to beat them.
Uh, yes when two 8-3 teams play each other, the winner is the division leader. Am I missing something?
Ya you're missing something. There is another thread titled...
If Dallas loses to Philly on Thanksgiving, then we are all but done for the division
So many sky fell/is falling/will fall treads that I thought I might make a positive one.
Which is why I said "I like this better"...
If Dallas wins against Philly on Thanksgiving, then we are all but first in the divison
OK. Makes sense now. That other thread was premature and not grounded in fact.
