If it walks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, and is cut by Tampa, then it should be starting in Minnesota.

If Lord Farve gets traded to Tampa and Garcia is cut would you want the Cowboys to get Garcia as a backup?

I for one, would take Garcia over getting a guy like Simms.

As a backup?

Heck YEAH-if Romo goes down for a couple of games, he can step in temporarily and get the job done...just like he did in Philly down the stretch.

No for two reasons....

1. They won't cut him.

2. T.O. and him don't get along.

He threw a TD to TO in the last Pro Bowl, FWIW.

JG would be much better then BJ and we could still run our downfield offense... I'd take him over BJ any day of the week..

That and JG's leadership is a plus. If McNabb doesn't go down in '06, then the Iggs would have folded like a cheap suit.

Everybody calling him "gay" clearly hasn't seen his wife. Not that his orientation should matter one bit either way.

He'd immediately become one of the best backup QBs in the NFL, WCO or no WCO.

The ONLY issue is the T.O. thing. If T.O. clears the move and Jeff wouldn't mind being in the same locker room with T.O., game on.

Do you guys even watch him play? He can't break a pane of glass from 10 yds, let alone be effective in our scheme. He is the epitome of "dink and dunk"

There would be absolutely no difference between him and BJ here, and at least Johnson has years and years of experience in our type of system, Garcia has zilch.

 People act like he is replacing Romo. Seriously, who out there would be better? Please, nobody say Simms.

And you're asking if we've seen him play? Garcia has wheels. Christmas Day, 2006...

I personally think Garcia is the perfect backup to Romo, but I think Garcia can still start for a bunch of teams and I think that his past with T.O. would never allow for this to happen.

Jeff's a good QB.

Is there even a REMOTE similarity between our offense and Philly's? And if you want to throw up one game vs usn how bout when he was a Brown a few yrs back.
