Would they move the game? or switch cities etc.I hate to bring this
up when we're on such a high from yesterday.

Dallas is hundreds of miles inland... If the remnants of Ike went right over Irving, it would bring a lot of rain, but nothing really destructive.

There's also Houston, FWIW. I thought this OP was talking about what if it hit Houston, and where would the Texans play?

To far inland. I live near Shreveport, Louisiana and Gustav went right over us last week. Lots of rain for days but nothing really bad. Dallas would have the same.

Houston suits up at Reliant Stadium. It's an open structure so they'd just get buttloads of rain. hopefully Ike will land in extrememe south Texas or upper Mexico and just rain alot. Hopefully this time next week we'll be watching hurricane Romo.:star:

its still 4 to 5 days away,I'll see what it does, and where its heading. If it goes north of us,we're in for a wet, wild ride to Dallas.

Ike needs to stay the heck away from me. Living in Houston I don't want or need the headache of a Hurricane. So keep on moving to the West Mr. Ike

Lol I've been thru many Hurricanes and when they meander inland for days,
many events get postponed.

If Ike hits South Texas(as expected),and makes its way up around Dallas,he would become a "depression" by then. Not more than just wind, and ALOT of rain. He's expected to catch the jet stream, and move through Texas quickly.(thats if the weather guys are correct)
