1. Carolina - Luck
2. Cincy - AJ Green
3. Denver - Daquan Bowers
4. Detroit - Patrick Peterson
5. Buffalo - Nick Fairley
6. Washington - Cam Newton
7. Arizona - Robert Quinn (Trade for Mcnabb so QB not needed)
8. Tennessee - Prince Akumura
9. Dallas -

Yep, agree. Trade down.

I don't see Washington taking Newton though. I think they'll try and be safe and pick Mallett.

McNabb may go to AZ but that doesn't mean they don't still need a QB. McNabb ain't getting any younger. It would not be surprising to see AZ pick up McNabb and draft Mallet or Newton.

Maybe take M Dareus the DT from Alabama?

I'm assuming that we don't get a great trade down offer.

Pick the best OL available at that spot.

By the time the draft gets here there will be linemen worthy of that pick.

I think Sherrod is gonna fly up draft charts.

I think we are going to end up just outside of range of guys we want like Patrick Peterson, Prince Amukamara, Da'Quan Bowers, Nick Fairley, and Robert Quinn (not counting Andrew Luck, AJ Green, Cam Newton, and Ryan Mallett since we don't need a QB or WR)). I'm not really big on Marcel Dareus and I'd rather let someone else draft him.

What I do see happening is us being in an ideal position to grab the top-rated tackle whether that be Gabe Cirimi, Derek Sherrod, or Tyron Smith, depending on how we grade them out. We have had issues grading offensive linemen lately (us vs the rest of the NFL, our ratings have been much lower than where they actually get drafted) so that's something I hope Jerry takes a serious look at while getting ready for the draft. If we think no Tackle is worthy of a Top 12 to 15 pick, I'm sure there will be someone who wants to move up a few spots to get Dareus, Jake Locker, Justin Blackmon, Julio Jones, etc.

Trade down. Pick up an extra first next year or a 2nd this year.

him or nate solder(spelling?)

If it falls like that I have no problem taking Cameron Jordan. We can fix both lines with our first 2 picks. No need to reach for a offensive lineman when we can address it in the 2nd rd. BPA approach is whats needed if we are fortunate to have a top 10 pick.

I endorse this message. :)

I've read that Nate Solder's the best OL in this class and I've read that he's vastly overrated. He graded out well on a bad team. Does anyone have a first hand opinion?

You just might be right. I hope you are. That means Dallas wins at least 2 more games, and I want to win the games. Plus, I would like all three of those players on the board. I'd take Sherrod, because I think he is ready to go now and still has the upside. However, Smith has some great talent too, and he's athletic, too. His grade must have been a first round grade. I think that he would have stayed at USC if he received a lower pre-draft grade. JMO

Dallas would compare Sherrod and Smith to Free and decide. I'd take Sherrod with no hesitation. I think Cirimi would be the odd man out, even though he's probably the ideal RT for them. Or...It could be Sherrod VS Cirimi if they didn't think Smith was ready to play out of the gate and be drafted that high...Then, they would compare Sherrod, Cirimi, and Free. I think Sherrod is a pure LT. Cirimi is known for his run blocking and strength. Honestly, I'd want both of them on my offensive line if I could do it.

Dallas needs at least one OT and multiple interior offensive linemen, because they have not taken care of their business (drafting on the offensive line and developing or plugging) like you have basically stated. Trading out and not taking Levitre or Loadholt was foolish, imo. I saw Levitre dominating the Steelers on NFL Playbook. They high-lighted him and showed how good he played in that game, at LG.

I'm not big on drafting Dareus that high, either. I'd rather have Nick Fairly.

Honestly, I think Dallas really needs to think about getting a big NT like the Steelers and Packers and Patriots. I'd discuss it for sure. Brent has impressed during his playing time, especially against the run, from what I've gathered.

The Commanders and Giants want to run first. I'd make it difficult for them.

I saw Fairley cheap-shot Georgia's QB in the back. That QB is really good, by the way. Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia have some talented young QBs.

It was a real cheap shot and a penalty. It wasn't the first time that Fairley's play has been under the mirco-scope. His play has been called dirty. He can't stick and drive guys into the ground in the NFL. College football really needs to clean up their game. Someone is really going to get hurt.

That raises a red flag...

If that would have been Tyler Bray, I'd would have been ready to fight him.

LOL

So you are saying if we had a chance to take Luck you wouldn't? If Jerry had an opportunity to Draft Luck and didn't that would just affirm how bad of a GM he is.

No, we just have no shot at him. He will go Top 3 probably 1st overall so that takes up one slot ahead of us.
