i would trade both our first rounders, next years 2 and a player like akin to get...not mcfadden...but dorsey...if we had him at DE we would dominate every team...if you strengthen your strongest part of your team...or one of them...you do greater damage if that part can dominate...rather than put your hopes into a misguided possible good player like mcfadden....think about it....dorsey and ratliff and ware and ellis passrushing on 3rd down...no one would be able to stop them...dorsey would cause some much havoc.....if you doubled him you couldnt double ellis and ware....UNSTOPPABLE! think about it in the 3-4 and all the stunts we could do...no one would be able to stop us...

Instead of "flaming" you like the others who have just "piled on you" here, I will try to give a substantive reply to your post. If you view Dorsey as a franchise type of player (he may be) I could see the benefit of moving up to get him, and it probably makes more sense to move up and get him than McFadden to some degree, as I deem McFadden as a boom or bust pick.

I think the reasons against it are:

1. It costs too much to move up that far to acquire a position that isn't a glaring need.

2. Dorsey has injury concerns.

3. The Cowboys have other pressing needs that probably need to be addressed before DT.

I will submit that your thought process is not nearly as wacko as the posters who mock you think it is. I do do think it is highly unlikely to happen though.
