That’s because unlike Dallas the 49ers don’t need a superstar QB. They have elite coaching, defense and running scheme.

You literally have two coaches in San Francisco a legend that revolutionized the running game and a prodigy son.. the 49ers literally just need to not implode and get decent QB play.

But in terms of "best defense" -- SF has given up 190, Dallas 206 in 12 games, with Dallas playing a much tougher schedule. Okay, sure, whatever, SF has the best defense.

Meanwhile Dallas' D will be licking their chops against Mr. Irrelevant should they hook up in the post season. And sell out to stop the run because, well you know, that's all SF will be able to do.

Like Tampa Bay, bring on the 49ers. Man, I'm just really going to enjoy this post season. Gonna make the disappointment in 2007, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2021 melt away.

Its also about the QB, not only. Cant win with a bad NFL QB on a ridiculous high contract. You can with an above average or good NFL QB on a rookie deal tho.
