There is nothing to forgive him for, he has done nothing but wreak the franchise. Besides, he would not know who to pick to begin with, probably Garrett, the next Tom Landry.

2 things that won't happen, Jerry won't hire a GM and I won't forgive him.
So for the record, 2 days ago I was listening to 105.3 on my way home from work. The hosts, don't know if they are the same ones who Jerry threatened to fire, said that Jerry was recently asked if he planned to remain the GM until the day he drops dead. He confirmed that is exactly what he will be doing.

As bad as it sounds, Jerry has to die before there will be any changes in the front office.

Jerry deserves for people to tell him to his face that we are just waiting around for him to die so we can actually have hope for the Cowboys.

The evil sub-human narcissist deserves that kind of scorn.

Absolutely not.

Jerry Jones LEGACY is that he destroyed one of the greatest franchises in all sports and completely dismantled the greatest NFL franchise in the history of the league. That’s what he will forever be known for

Nope. I can forgive for a few rough years, but we are talking about 30 years of all our lives. The last time I watched my favorite team get to the big dance, I was 16 years old. I'm staring at the downhill slide to 50 at this point in my life and I'm still waiting.

I'm sure there are some younger fans on here that have absolutely NO idea what it's like to see their favorite team make even a deep playoff push. It's all beyond ridiculous.

IMHO the first 3 superbowls bought him at least 10 to 15 more years. It has really only been the last 10 years or so that he has been killing his legacy but the curve is exponential at this point. This year has been almost unbelievable.

I'll never forgive him for all the years he wasted. He could have been the greatest owner in NFL history but his ego wouldn't allow it to happen.

No too many years have been taken off my life, too many missed off seasons and opportunities to better this team, too many word salads, too many drunken news conferences after games and throughout the week, Jerry before he passes owes US an apology!!!
Too many threads started, too many thoughts asked for, that's unforgivable.

I should explain.

I don't think it is a matter of forgiveness. Like everyone he has to own the consequences of his decisions.

My saying to Jerry, I forgive you, won't take away the lost opportunities and bumbling bad decisions of getting in a heated row with Jimmy Johnson, the 500 coaches comment, the hiring of Dave Campo, the premature firing of Chan Gailey, the Joey Galloway trade, the Roy Williams trade, the Quincy Carter draft, the girl in the bathroom video, the illegitimate daughter, the "All in 2024" year and the "We couldn't afford Henry" comment in 2024.

I could say i forgive you a million times, but it doesn't matter a hill of beans in terms of running a decent and clean organization and the pursuit of what we are all here for every single year - winning the SuperBowl.

So once again the answer is "no".

I wouldn’t. I would pray he just fades away.

Hire a real GM? One that has authority to build the team the way that the new GM wants, not as Jerruh wants?

Shouldn't we debate something more likely to happen? Like what would we do if my dog learned to drive and started his own pizza delivery service?

Any one wishing death on someone because of a game, should do the world a favor and walk the plank. It's a frikkin game...what the hell is wrong with some people?
