Why do we continue to bend over and take all this junk year after year in this league? It never stops. And it's not just yesterday's game. It's not even just on the field.

Remember when we got penalized for manipulating the salary cap? Which was b.s. How about dragging Zeke's name through the mud and dragging their feet in this process? When it's already came out she was lying and trying to set him up.

How they handled this Gregory situation. Allowing him to come back for a few games and then suspend him right before the playoffs.

2014, Suh was suspended but they overturned it. You think they'd ever do that for us? Please.

And every year, it's some new call against us. Dez's catch and now some call that has not been called since the year I was born (1984). And when GB did it earlier and it happens every week but it's just not something called. And even at that, it was not the correct call as he wasn't in the huddle. Defender allowed to bring down Witten near the endzone with no call. But if we grab at all, it's called right away. OL allowed on the last play of the game to tackle Irving and not even trying to hide it.

because he is not losing money is my guess. he keeps on making it. doesnt stop him from wanting to win/not saying he doesnt want to win just saying.

its all money related.

Hard to disagree with any of this honestly. The NFL is very inconsistent with its policies and we seem to get screwed a lot in the process.

I'm not so sure Jerry is as respected as you think. He may be respected as an owner but not as a human being. Between the provocative photos of him, his habit of hiring players with "character issues" that no other teams would touch, having a known obsession with being in the spot light and his micro managment of coaches is generally frowned upon by most people.

They must have dirt on Jerry, like bad video

I'm sure there is dirt on every creepy, old owner. The Rooney's basically had mafia ties through gambling and their connections to gambling go so far back, its basically ironical they never get called out for clear conflicts of interest.

While TV revenues are shared, Jerry keeps his merchandising profits, contrary to the rest of, if I'm not mistaken, teams in the league. Maybe they all resent him deep down. Either way, Jerry should be furious.
This. I think the other owners began resenting Jerry when he got "too big for his britches" (as my Grandma, rest her soul, would have said) in 1995 when he struck out on his own and signed deals with Nike and Pepsi. They've never forgiven him or been able to look past it. I think Super Bowl 30 was almost an accident....I can't remember exactly why, but I almost feel we backed into a situation to even have played in that Super Bowl, and if not for Neil O'Donnell's/Larry Brown's INT, no way we win that game. We'd be saying 23 years instead of 21, but things just lined up for us in Super Bowl 30 that I don't think were supposed to happen.

Goodell works for the owners, yes? I would think they would like to see this cleaned up with him. He loves witch hunts and just makes up rules as he goes. Do these owners just care about the bottom line and the massive profits they make every year? I know that's part of the business but you would think at some point, you want to win. Because the money will be there win or lose.

Jerry makes money no matter what if Dallas is 16-0 or 0-16.

The irony is everybody followed his business ways and it earned the league billions of dollars. Jerry business wise has been well ahead of these owners for ages.

Kraft, who is supposedly a symbol of Owens's greatness, basically just got CBS, through Viacom, to pay out money for NFL, but any network was going to shell out that much money. Look at CBS and how they've been slobbering over Patriots for well over a decade, before they started winning and how the league protected the Patriots during Spygate.

He's not he is just a money guy and the NFL has worked him like a puppet after they saw how much of a genius he was with marketing and side deals

He's no different than any other wealthy white dude out there. No one cares about what he does in his spare time. Hell the Colts owner is a crackhead.

Because the bottom line is cash $$$$. Jerry is no primetime Al Davis. Before he went crazy Al Davis was the man no one messed with

If I'm Garrett, I'm telling every guy in that locker room that we are going to practice against Green Bay AND the refs. Our entire game plan is surrounding Green Bay and that horrible reffing fraternity they have in the NFL.

Next episode: J.R. (Jerry Jones) blackmails Jacqueline's (his 35-year old mistress) son Harold, who J.R. fathered after impregnating Jacqueline in her sophomore year in high school following a restroom lap dance, into killing Dean Blandino, in a bold scheme designed to scare league officials into submission. Meanwhile, Sue Ellen discovers J.R. and Jacqueline's love nest, pops a fifth of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, and drinks herself into a stupor. Back at the Ranch, Pam awakens from another dream and tells Bobby the Cubs will win the World Series some day. Bobby laughs.

I can give you perspective living in an NFL city that is not Dallas, and I can say with 100% certainty that JJ is considered the laughing stock of the NFL around here deserved or not deserved. Does that hold true everywhere? That I do not know.

It is if your last name is Mara or Rooney or Kraft. Just sayin'

Apparently Mara must have been kicked off that list...his team did not make it to the second round with the Refs help....just saying

Jerry is an independent. He's not in the Northeast Rotary Club consisting of Goodell, Blandino, Mara, Rooney and Kraft.

As long as the NFL makes money, they'll have no proven being petty towards the redneck outsider.
