If last night was no fluke and we can continue to play Good-Average on defense, and control the ball on offense, and use our big weapons when teams want to commit to the front. I really see us being a top 6 team.
If we do go deep in the playoffs, and Dare I say superbowl, we would really need for a team to get lucky and knock off the Hawks or Denver. They are the only teams I really see molly-whopping us. Or making us work very very hard.

Here is my current top 10

Seahawks
Denver
Colts
Greenbay
Chargers
Cowboys
Bengals
San Fran
Giants
Detroit/Falcons

Bengals are one of only 2 teams who are still undefeated. I think we need to slow down here.

We still have the same fundamental problems we have always had. Namely, we don't have a great deal of depth along the OL. Once injuries start to happen there, we are going to struggle. It is what it is. We still have more work to do.

The Cowboys are not better than the Bengals. The Bengals might be the best team in football right now. Their defense is for real.

The Giants are not very good, and shouldn't be in the top 10, imo. The Eagles are the team to beat in the East. The Eagles have only lost to the 49ers, and it was on the road, and it was close.

You have an argument with Packers, maybe. But not the Colts. Stop it.

You must be joking. The colts are not that good..their defense is a joke...

Sd is one of the most complete teams in the nfl..

The Eagles failed to score an offensive TD, they crossed the SF 50 once, maybe twice, and not until late in the game.
Eagles scored on a blocked punt, amn INT, a punt return. Their defense played better than the prevoius 3 games, but not all that much better, or seemed like it.
Tap the brakes on the Eagles. If all keep up as is, Murray will get 200 yards on that Eagles defense.
But I will agree they are the team to beat, since they did win the division last year, and are 3-1.

the Eagles have not looked impressive to me. I have them as the third best team in the division right now.

Ppl after a win smh... last week we are having trouble getting a playoff birth, and this week we are Superbowl contenders... we beat a 1-3 team, granted probably the best 1-3 team ever lol

I think the Cowboy are better than the Packers.

The Packers are back to their usual selves -- Amazing QB surrounded by average (at best) running game and subpar defense.

The Cowboys have a balanced offense and what is starting to very much look like a decent to good defense.

I doubt we would have been dominated by Detroit and Seattle like Green Bay was . Have no idea how they could be ranked higher ?

Way too soon to tell. But for my part, anybody see the Cardinals play yet this season? The scores haven't been all that impressive, but they look pretty dang good.

I like the cards too. But i just cant ever trust carson palmer, Stanton looked good but need to see if he can keep it up.

Anyway, in regards to the original post, it might be easier to just rank the top 6 NFC teams rather than the whole league.

I put Seattle first but i dont think there is a clear cut # 2....But if I had to Id go

Seattle
Arizona
Detroit

After that I could put Dallas 4th just as easily as any other NFC team

The Panthers lost all 3 RB's amd the entire wr corps is new this year - tough road ahead for Cam
The Falcons are completely up and down - Can score - have no defense
The 49ers - Kap was absolutely horrible yestaerday and has been most of the year - cant hit wide open receivers
Green Bay and Chicago have a defense that i expect to be as easy to score on as the Saints were last night
I would have put the eagles ahead of us until their offense was rendered completely inept yesterday

Overall, I think the AFC is better than the NFC right now - If ever there was a year for an NFC team with warts to go deep in the playoffs this is it. Really no one looks balanced but Seattle. Arizona and Detroit play good defense and can pass but dont run the ball particularly well.

We might have some of the same problems we have always had, but offensive line isn't one of them. Berny is quality depth as is Parnell. It would be a step down if we lost one of our starters (probably a lot less of step down in Free's case) but that would be the same situation for every team in the NFL. Our depth at this point is most likely superior to most teams in the NFL even on the bench. Bery would probably start for a lot of teams in the NFL right now..... and you could make the same case for Parnell.
