If McCown did this, it doesn't matter who plays QB for the Packers

Doesn't matter whatsoever who plays QB for the Pack next week. Tonight was the worst defense I've ever seen. Including college football. That's not an exaggeration.

There have been worse defensive efforts this year. Unfortunately, they were by us. We gave up 490 yards tonight, but we've given up over 600 yards twice.

It's bad enough seeing Peyton Manning, Phillip Rivers and Drew Brees shred the defense in perfect weather conditions but to see a journeyman QB who's playing with their 5th team put up 348 yards and 4 TD's on a night when the wind chill was -7 is beyond discouraging.

At least those 600-plus yard games happened in a dome but to give up almost 500 yards on a below zero wind chill night is crazy especially to a team that's playing their backup QB.

The season ended on a frozen field in Chicago......................this team is not winning 3 games in a row with this High School level defense................we may not even win 1 more game with this defense.

You take a defense that was built around a completely different scheme, then hire a coordinator that runs a scheme that in no way do we have the proper player models to run effectively and hope it works.

Invest heavily in 2 big physical corners to jam at the line and play man coverage. Next year- lets just play zone. Infact let's try to duplicate the Tampa 2 with probably not a single correct piece in place to run it.

I knew Ryan's defense would get off to a slow start- it's over complicated, and he showed up with the lockout looming. But damn, we weren't that bad, and actually forced 3 and outs! When's the last time we saw that?

It’s diarrhea defense. I wasn’t surprised the defense gave up a lot of yards and points but was surprised they were unable to make a single stop. Not only that, but McCown was the starting QB! The only positive is that the pushy positivity will be toned down this week.

Of all my years watching football. This was the most pathetic attempt at playing defense I've ever seen. Pitiful. Shameful. It became comedy. Analyst on national television are literally laughing at this team. How in the world we have a winning record and still are in the hunt I have no idea.

I'm a little shocked by all the "most pathetic performance ever..." type comments. Where were you guys the Bronco's and Aint's games?

Seeing Manning, Rivers and Brees do it was one thing this is out of control

And the sad part is they had 11 that's right 11 days to get ready for it........fans need stop believing the hype.......it's the same old Cowboys. Same old crap gets put on the field year after year...

At least it was Brees/Manning.

McCown has been just as dominant in his run as a starer as they have been. Well, maybe not Manning but McCown has played great. He's probably better than Cutler right now. Sure plays like it. And not to mention Brandon Marshall and Jeffrey's....don't get me wrong, that's no excuse for this defense. But that Aint's game...39 first downs?

You know Rodgers is flat out begging to play this coming week.

It's not just the QBs that will scare me the rest of the way. Lacy, Morris, and McCoy have all got to be just DYING to play against this piss poor run defense. They're all likely to have new career highs playing against this trash.
