Love the kid! Has a lot of Emmitt type qualities to not only his game but his character and work ethic.

I think he will feed on people doubting him like players like him always seem to do. Chip on his shoulder and out to prove his worth.

Personally,....I think we have way too many other needs to draft a r.b very high in this years draft. BUT..........if this guy slides all the way to the 4th Im jumpin on him and never looking back!

I like this guy but wouldn't take him in the 3rd as we have bigger needs currently...that being said, I can't se him being around in the 4th....also, this guy, while a terrific runner in college, had A LOT of carries...he had a lot of college mileage put on him...

Yep,...I'd love him in the 4th myself. One thing about Ball,....this kid totally reshaped his body a couple years back. Dropped well over 20 pounds. Kid has the frame to add weight and still be highly effective/tough runner. What he lacks in speed he makes up for with vision and his ability to cut. In fact,...I may even prefer him at the heavier weight. Not the 238 that he once maxed out as,....but maybe somewhere in the mid 220's.

Here he is at a much heavier weight,....

Lastly,.......as the world biggest Badger fan...LOL,..I think I have a little insight into the running back position at U.W.

Heres the thing,....for years and years now, decades in fact,...Wisconsin running backs have been severely over rated coming into the NFL draft due to the type of O line the badgers normally have and the offensive system they employ. Those guys have went on to do very little if anything in the NFL.

But with this specific kid my gut tells me its going to work the exact opposite. Instead of over rating him he is being under rated. I dont see him as anything like those Badger running backs of the past. Think this kid almost LIKES it when people doubt him. Time will tell,...but I have a strong feeling that three years down the road alot of NFL teams are going to be wishing they wouldnt have passed on the kid.

As an added bonus,.....he is a quality person in general. These days the NFL can use all of those kinda guys they can get.

Absolutely, I'd love to draft Ball.

There's 4 backs in this draft that I like the best, almost equally. Ball, Taylor, Franklin and Bell.

I think we get any of those, they play a major role this year and become the starter when Murray gets injured again.

Dont know much about Franklin,....but Bell and Taylor are both excellent backs IMO although I would prefer Bell to Taylor . Bell is one helluva tough runner,...can be a REAL load to bring down. Only real weakness I see in his game is when he tries to create something out of nothing and takes it outside. He's just not very effective out there if you can string him out and make him go east west instead of down hill. If this kid ever FULLY learns that sometimes you just gotta follow your blockers and take the one or two yard gain he can be a real dynamo in the NFL. Has alot of Marshawn Lynch in his game.

Actually,.....I have seven pet cats in this draft that I think fit our team to a tee. In no particular order, and regardless of round,...they are...

Warmack,...cooper, and Warford,....Brian Schwenke " LOVE THIS KID!!!!" , Ball, Bell,.....and Jordan Hill. Think Hill fits the Kiffin/Marinelli mold like a glove btw.

Of coarse,...we almost HAVE to draft a safety high also.
