Thought I had heard he was 34 yards ahead of dickersons pace right now for the record? Seen it on nfl network early this week. Could be wrong though lol

IN todays NFL what he's doing no is enough amazing. Teams just dont run the ball like the Cowboys are every week. IMO Murray is good, but he's not getting touched most of the time until hes about 6-8 yrds down the field. The OL is the real story. Jerry said it best, they give Randle the ball 20 times and he's over 100 yrds a game too with this OL.

I can't wait to chant "Jerry!" at camp next summer.

We're going to need some waterproof face paint.

Probably what they meant is where Dickerson was at this time of the season. But that doesn't mean math wise he's on pace to break it. Dickerson finished strong with some big games.

I agree.

And, honestly, I don't care if he does. I care about running well, but not individual achievements. So if the Cowboys rush for another 800 yards this year, if it's 500 Murray/300 backups or all 800 Murray, it doesn't matter to me.

I want the record, I want the win, I want to hear the Lamentations of the Eags and their fans, I want it all!

Emmitt Smith had 25 rushing touchdowns that season.

I'm not even sure DeMarco Murray will eclipse 10 rushing touchdowns this season.

The lack of rushing touchdowns is an issue.

As impressive as the ground game has been this season, the team only has 8 rushing touchdowns (Murray has 7 of them), which is tied for 13th in the NFL.

That's not good enough.

Agreed. Cowboys need to stay with run in red zone.

The more we ride Murray and the closer he gets to 2,000 yards, the easier it will be for this team to let him go at the end of the season. That yardage mark is like a curse for running backs.

Great point. They started off strong but it's disappeared lately.

I was thinking about just that this morning when I decided to look at Murray's numbers to this point.

He had 5 TDs in the first 4 games of the season.

5 of his 7 in the first 4. He's only had 2 since then. He hasn't scored a TD in 4 consecutive games. His last TD came in the first game against the Giants.

All that said to the point Hos was bringing up....Of course first and foremost the win is what is important today.

But ideally I'd love to see this today.

Cowboys win on the back of Murray running for 230 yards and 3 TDs. I'd love it if he just ran it down their throat all day long and carried us to a huge win today.

I hope Murray breaks Emmitt's single season rushing record.
I hope a future Cowboy RB in the future breaks Murray's record.

And so on and so on.
