Outside of LA it'd probably be Toronto or Mexico City. You need the pop. to support it. That's why the NFL left LA in the first place. Why would they go to some place with a small population like Nebraska, OKC or Portland that's already so close to another team. lol

Of course I'm going to say Toronto over Mexico. We've got the Jays and the Raps. We've got almost 6 million right here in Toronto alone and almost 12 in the region. Also the major economic punch that Mexico doesn't have. Anyway, the Bills are already playing two games a year up here plus a pre-season so you guys who want to keep it in the states are already on the outside looking in like we've been for years.

We Need the NFL and can support it.

I'm a Cowboys fan for life though no matter what happens.

They didn't leave LA because the pop was low:)

You need support but not necessarily monstrous cities. Franchises are doing quite well in Tennessee and other places.

Its about getting the fans to the stadium more than anything, there is zero chance Mexico City gets a franchise anytime soon. Security costs alone would be astronomical. As the kidnapping business has ramped up the NFL hasn't even been back for an exhibition game.

I could see an NFL franchise in Canada.

I think they really want to go back to LA, but you make it sound like the NFL as a league made a conscious decision to leave LA, when that isn't the case. You just had 2 owners with better offers from other cities. The league wants to have a team in LA.

Toronto could conceivably get the Bills, but it would be unwise to move some other team into that area.

Based on that list, it looks like Portland would be the next biggest other than LA.

And I think an earlier poster got it right: though I'm sure the NFL would love to break into the Latin market, what player is his right mind is ever going to sign on with a Mexico City team?

Romo would sign with a Cabo San Lucas team.:D

Just kidding, I love Romo.

I see lots of mentions of San Antonio, but while the city itself has a large population, the metro area is a pretty small media market.

If we build a new stadium just north of SA, we can share the Austin market and that bumps us up quite a bit.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! Yes it's a homer pick but I don't care. I'd LOVE to have pro football in the great state of Oklahoma.

Pro football just has never been important to LA. The Rams and Raiders did OK but only when they were winning. Just barely getting it done as regards attendance. And its tougher now with the higher ticket prices and so much more for the people there to do then watch pro football. USC and UCLA only get full attendance due to the Alumni. I just do not see it ever doing well there.

Orlando? four teams in Florida unless the Jags move. I could see them moving. The stadium thing is absolutely critical and lets face it there will be no more big new stadiums for quite a while unless some owner finances it himself. Not a whole lot of people with a billion in cash to do this= and not many that want to borrow a billion to do it. Portland? maybe- what is the situation there as regards a stadium thoug? San Antonio has the Alamo Dome so they have the stadium- is it good enough?

Realisitically only the places with a current stadium that will generate the needed revenue will work- or like Orlando where one is building.
