If you don't learn from history, Aren't Your doomed to repeat it???

I know most opinions on this but, there are a few that think changing the Coaching staff and some star players would not make us a better team next year.

I'd like to hear their argument.

As far as I'm concerned if there are no major changes We're Doomed.

I agree. The chemistry on this team is awful. Bunch of individuals. When I see Pacman and TO hanging out on the sidelines, I don't get a very good vibe from that, let's just say.

Our OL is not NEARLY as good as some think and I have said that since Week 1.

Romo and others need to FOCUS for 60 minutes and from week to week instead of half the game and every other week.

Garrett - I had high hopes for him but he just does't impress me at all.

If we don't fix our Special Teams, we aren't going ANYWHERE.

This team has a lot of talent, but it also has a lot of issues that need to be dealt with. If we come back next year with the same hand, you can bet we won't make it to the final table. Guaranteed.

The only thing that needs to change is this team winning instead of losing.

I didn't get the feeling we lost because we have a bunch of individuals on this team.

Thats media spat.

We lost because this team is dumb. Simple as that.

They played hard. They are a good group of guys. Just stupid.

Sarge, You make two points I really agree with. Parcells pointed out that Romo, while extremely talented, is the kind of QB, at least for now, that needs constant coaching throughout the game to remind him of situations, etc.

Garrett doesn't seem to have that ability to bear down on him and help keep him in check. Seems more of a "that's ok bud, we'll come back and get them next time." In the NFL, more than any other sport, your opportunities are finite and magnified.

And I still feel Garrett is learning how to get a "rythym" for the game and what we are trying to accomplish offensively. Bright, yes. Experienced? Not so much.

I realise Romo threw up a couple of bad passes last night.

But he was marching this team down the field against the best Defense in the league in the 4th quarter.

I truly believe he was going to win us that game last night. Our defense just didn't want us to win.

I'm sorry, I disagree , I think The "D" was extremely tired and the end of the game.

Too many three and outs for us in the first three quarters.

We rotated a lot in that game and were putting together long drives at the end of the game.

Nothing a professional athlete shouldn't be able to get through.

Certainly nothing that excuses back to back 70+ yard runs. Nobody does that except dumb teams.

You have got to be kidding me. Romo was going to win that for us? After being one of the primary culprits in losing it for us?

The defense "didn't want us to win"? You know, I'm new around here, but I cannot believe how utterly inane that comment is. Didn't want us to win? So, they wanted us to lose, or just didn't care, despite being the only thing keeping us in the game? The defense kept them at bay for three quarters, just like in Pittsburgh, and just like in Pittsburgh, they got run down because they spent too much field time on too many drives because the offense was incapable of sustaining drives and putting up points.

I am not sure what an irrational alternate universe looks like, but I can hear what passes for football opinion in it...

We constantly lose because of the small things, not the big things. Special teams, turnovers, penalties and other missed opportunities. One miscue here and another miscue there could really help or hurt a team. I just think that with what I've been seeing over these past few years, it seems like our team has a lot of dumb players on the field.

That's exactly the point I was making when I said "finite" opportunities in the NFL. Maybe if he'd been reminded of the importance of not throwing up those opportunities for probably the best ball hawk in the NFL in Ed Reed, we wouldn't have been in that situation of hoping he could pull it out to begin with.

Maybe if after the first one, if Garrett or even Wade (inpossible I know) chewed his behind out, pick no. 2 never occurs.

Yes, the defense is culpable, but everything is intertwined. Extend those drives and possibly the defense isn't in the position it was having to try to give a chance to win. Not excusing them, they didn't so their job. But one hand washes the other offensively and defensively.
