If one OL starter misses any games, the OL is in huge trouble

I heard worse last season. When Tyron went down last season, most of the board thought the offensive line was terrible. I remember you chicken littles thought we had one offensive lineman and that was Martin. We lost Steele and Tyron for most of the season and offensive line was fine.
The OL was terrible last year. They couldn't pass block against anyboy.

Right tackle is my biggest concern. I think Steele is a quality starter but I don’t see a capable backup if he were to get hurt.
Valid question here, but style and need is closer to 2 seconds and go. It has simplified and tends to strengths of Prescott.

Once again, Dallas will be going to scrap heap, in free agency, when teams make there HUGE cut downs in a week.
Yes, there will be some decent/good players that will be released for a variety of reasons. Dallas needs to grab to fill holes in the above mentioned positions.
Disagree. We have very good options in Asim, Josh and Farniok.

Not to mention Bass.

Sorry if you think otherwise.

I actually believe we can hold up to one injury. If it’s a guard, we will be fine. If it’s a tackle, we will likely move Tyler to left tackle regardless of which side it happens to. If the injury is at center, we have an answer. Will the OL be weaker? Of course, take a starter out of any OL and replace him with a backup, and you will be weaker. When injuries occur to 2-3 offensive linemen, now I think the season will completely depend on the defense.

That said, I see a couple of options. First, Edoga and Waletzko May both be ready to play if needed.
second, we either sign a veteran who is released soon or we trade for one.
So if Martin, an OG, goes down early for the season Dallas will be okay?

The 'Wall' was created from cast offs from other teams and drafted unknowns. Fact.

The offensive line scheme has been greatly simplified and all that is currently needed is a starting 2 second stable picture and this team can move the ball via ground or air against anyone. That is in the wheel house of Dak Prescott already. That, this team can already handle short of a strike or catastrophe.
So then what happened to the 'wheel house' last season....the season before...etc.? I guess the wheels fell off the wheel house.

Your stereotyped replies just puts another needing to respond to little more than questioning what he stated.

You explain what was wrong with the receiver group as well as failure at defensing the run, last season. Then chip in starting running back lost for a half against SF.

But walking dead in the offensive line might have mattered as well...that part is just football.

But fess up, you didn't follow and understand why the current offense does meet the wheel house of Prescott...throwing the steady flow of stereotyping and put down of a solid team this year....go back to last year and live in one's own created gloom then.

So I stereotype my replies? No clue at all what you are talking about but then again I don't really care.

With all due respect I think this is an overreaction. Of course if 5 starters go down it will be a problem, as it would be for any team in the NFL. But these young players are backups and it1 or 2 of them have to see playing time with 3 or 4 of the starters I think they will be fine for the most part. Of course there will be some level of performance drop-off but I don't think it means disaster.

These backups faced the Seattle starting DL for much of the fist half of the game and while there were some obvious problems, they did okay. Just replace Waletzko with Steele, Ball with Martin, Tyler Smith for Hoffman, and Tyron for Asim Richards, with Biadasz at C and they line will be pretty good. Tyron goes down, they can move Tyler out to LT and Farniok into LG and I think it will work out okay, although I would groom Asim Richards for the LG spot. If Biadasz goes down, Farniok will be okay at C. The biggest problem might be losing Steele. Waletzko is not ready to start even as a backup.

I'm willing to bet like 95% of all cuts on the OL would upgrade someone on our backup unit. It's unbelievable how bad our backup OL is.

It's that way for every NFL team.

Do you guys know that all five of our backups played en masse against the Seahawks starting Dline for much of the first half. The only one that looked completely outmatched was Waletzko. The rest looked solid.
Richards looked very solid and received no help, which he most certainly would if Smith goes down. Bass looked good. Forniak and even Ball looked ok.
NO team in the NFL has several veteran backup Olinemen. They just don't exist. I actually feel ok about our Oline.
I see the same 3 accounts doing the same routine.
