Ok then let's fire BP and hire Jimmy for the sake of discussion.

After Jimmy spends 3 years rebuilding the team the way he wants it who's say he won't decide that he is tired of coaching and wants to go play on his boat again? What do we do then?

Same situation different coach.

I happen to believe that Jimmy is a much better coach and much more forward thinking. I'm a Jimmy Johnson fan, are you?

and it is a fact that Jimmy has never stayed longer than 5 years at any stop in his coaching career.

Yep, so we can be here exactly a year from now speculating on this very same matter.

I'm guessing you wouldn't want him to sign an extension?

Actually I'm more a fan of the Herschel Walker trade.
We have a winner.......take away that trade and add the salary cap and Jimmy is handcuffed

again, tell me what we had before BP came to Dallas.... Campo's 5 - 11 seasons, JJ's drafting. I am sure to you those were better seasons then Parcells right. At least the Cowboys are competitive....couldn't same the same before he came, besides the Jimmy days and HE IS NOT COMING BACK!!!

Actually, I would't mind. But I don't trust him to live up to it anyhow.

Can someone explain the "love affair" some seem to have with Bill Parcells.

That he can do no wrong.

After dying through the Campo years I was thrilled to get Parcells, a coach with winning experience.

But after 3 yrs with him, I am not impressed.

What has he done that is sooooo great ?

If his name was Tom Brown, he would be looking for a new job.

10-6 + 6-10 + 9-7 = 25-23 ... I'm not too happy or impressed with that.

1 playoff season out of three, missing the last two yrs in a row, ... I'm not too happy or impressed with that.

He has no personality, no charisma, or emotion on the sideline, ... looks a lot like apathy at times.

We have some good-looking young guys, but we also have many problems to address before we can even begin to look forward to next year, with the most glaring need being the most important position, ... offensive line.

Trust me, I don't want to go back to the Campo days, .. but a new, bright, young, innovative, hungry coach with something to prove sounds exciting to me.

Who is that ? I don't know, but Jerry HAS to know someone who does.

I probably think this way after seeing my Mountaineers go from Don Nehlen to Rich Rodriguez, ... it's like someone lit a fuse under the Mountaineer program.

This year has been just amazing, and we have reason to believe it could continue to some degree.

I like the gruff, crustiness of Parcells, but this team played lifeless a few times this year, and I just don't understand that.

I hate Cowher and the Steelers, but they come to play every week.

No? How about this?

(x+3)^3 + 2(x+3)^2 - 8(x+3) = 0

If nobody else is, I will be very disappointed. I want his Giants rear end out of town. Can't stand him as a coach.

Hahha.

Sucks to be you.
