If Philly wins tomorrow

The NFC Championship game would feature our two biggest rivals (Commanders and Eagles) with both of our ex-coordinators.

Meanwhile, here in Dallas, our owner has teased a similar offseason as last year and is plotting a way to force Jason Witten on the next head coach.

Go COWBOYS
After reading this post, I'm sorry but I can't wait for Jerry to go to the big yacht in the sky. And take his son with him.

Go ahead and let them win and move to the back of the draft and fall victim to the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl.

Don't forget, our two "GMs" have told us over and over that the way Philly does business is going to get them at some point which is why we are more cautious............... but if Philly wins next weekend, that will be 3 SBs in 8 years, where Roseman has remade the roster a few times.

LOL, good call, Jerry and his son, Bag of Hammers.

Only the Clampetts!!

I'm odd man out. I prefer that someone in the conference wins vs another conference / division.

If the Eagles win today, the NFC east is represented in the SB.

I graduated from Penn State, hit every home game as a student. I root for Penn State to win every game they play, but for the national title game this year, I'm rooting for Ohio State. To me, makes the conference your team plays in look better. Being a PSU fan is a lot like being a cowboys fan. Cowboys have won a super bowl in less time than PSU winning a national championship...

Problem is, I'd prefer the Rams to beat both the Eagles and Washington, but I can live with somebody representing the NFC east in the Super Bowl.

I know people will be screaming I'm not really a fan if I could even fathom someone else winning it all other than the cowboys, but I can live with it LOL

I had to look... if the Rams win today, they will host Washington.
You’re really a fan. I’m pulling for Ohio State, now, too. “We are…Penn State”. (1978)

LOL, I know all about upstate NY weather. I live in the Adirondack Mountains. At any rate, this game for me is one to stay away from as far as who to pick. The Rams have been playing as good as anyone lately and when that offense is running on all cylinders they are scary.
I think we can both agree that the weather played a factor in the Ram's loss today.

When we are both dead, weather may not be a factor in the game, and I would respectfully argue that weather SHOULD be a factor in the game..

That's the football I remember I remember....

One could argue that if you're really a fan, if you have so much animosity against the teams you regularly play against, that you never want your opponent to win if they have a better record than you.

That said, living in NC when Appalachian State beat Michigan in 2007, that was one of the happiest moments in my life!!

The funny thing is a guy I worked with had a son who was a starting linebacker on App State's team. We kind of bonded after that even though I didn't have a southern dialect:laugh:

Since the seasons are older than the NFL and calendars are available to everyone I guess weather being a factor is fair. Today it hurt what the Rams are good at more than it hurt what the Eagles are good at. It is the football I remember as well. Nonetheless, I think the divisional round and conference championship round should be played at neutral sights.

I would respectfully disagree. This is one reason why you play to win, to play games in your home stadium if you make the playoffs.

I appreciate that sentiment. But what fans watch all season is not what happens in the post season. Similar to baseball. All season it‘s 70’s and 80’s and then the most important games can be played in 40’s and 50’s temps. All four teams left in the playoffs now are subject to cold winter climate and play in outdoor stadiums. The Super Bowl, however, is in less than harsh weather conditions…as usual.
