If the tight end falls to number 10 . I personally would do , whatever I had to do. To trade right back up in the first round to get one of the best corners. Next year’s first round and Gallup. And possibly maybe a second and . ? Yes I would give the farm away just like I was getting a quarterback.

It’s called desperation mode I’m tired of waiting for a championship. That doesn’t mean how much talent we receive. We still don’t have the right coaching or owners. LOL is this frustration or watt

Thank God you're not running our draft then.
I won't mind trading back into the 1st rd but trading the farm is reckless.
There are a good amount of solid CBs from everything I've read about this draft. No need to sell the farm.

We pick at 44 in the 2nd round. We have (2) 3rd round picks and (2) 4th round picks if I'm not mistaken. Certainly our round 3 and 4 round comp picks should be enough to move up to pick 25 in the first round to get defensive help. Essentially, a pick hungry team has the opportunity to get pick (44) 2nd round, pick (99) 3rd round, pick (138) 4th round for a pick somewhere between 17 and 24 in the first round.

Saw a mock yesterday that had Pitts going second.

If Pitts is such a great prospect he'll never last past the 5th pick.

But we'll see what really happens. Only have 23 more days...

I am fine with Pitts at 10. But no way we trade back into the 1st round. There is not a player worth doing that for, that we can't get a player in the 2nd round that may be just as good.
This is not a deep draft for blue chip players after the 12th round.
What is there from the low 20's to the mid 2nd round are about the same.

0 chance that happens now the Jets traded Darnold. It’s a QB hungry market. So you’re looking at 4-5 of the 9 picks in front will be QBs. Then you have Sewell, Chase, Surtain etc

It’s possible it happens

We're at opposite ends of the spectrum here. Don't get me wrong, we're Cowboys fans, we want what's best for the team. So to me you're opinion is a valid one and not something I'd criticize because it's not a bad one. I just don't think your scenario has any possibility to happening.

Pitts isn't getting to #10 for several reasons. First, I'm thinking since Carolina traded for Darnold, they won't be in the QB market and is yet another team that can draft Pitts. And if Pitts ever gets past them, the Eagles will trade up with Denver. Or someone will to grab him. Pitts is never going to be on the board at #10.

History isn’t too kind to the team that decides to trade next years future for a player in that years draft.
Nobody is trading you anything if significance for Gallup.

Your option is to trade down but you aren’t getting two 1sts in this draft. You draft Pitts just know your 2nd round pick is the next time you can go defense.

So Pitts will be passed by teams who'll take a tackle and cornerback before him? Doesn't seem likely...

I don’t know about never. I can see some ways for it to happen. I’d say there’s a 5% chance. Just too early to tell honestly. No one thought Lamb would fall to us either.

I don't think so, either, but never say never!

It depends if some guy falls but I do agree. Hoping to get Pitts and then Horn or Surtain is false hope. Ain’t happening.
