I think people are overreacting to this. Our 2 CBs will be Newman and Henry. Our 3rd would be Scandrick. He's not gonna be playing S when we need 3 CBs on the field. We're using him in a hybrid position to take advantage of his skill set but it's not gonna be a regular thing. It'll be one of those novelty packages.

Our 4th CB would be Ball. We still need to add about 2 more CBs and a safety but this wouldn't change our needs or strategy one bit

I'm not sure what Wade is thinking by doing this.

If he goes through with it, they better get AT LEAST two more corners either through FA or draft or both and at least one more safety.

We will have ZERO depth if Scandrick goes to FS. I think it's a dumb move.

Hey, if it's not clear, I was actually defending you. It was obvious that it was a minor slip.

Newman only missed time the last two seasons and both times it was injuries that just happened not any physical breakdown. So with his regime of workout I say he will be playing all games this year. He has relatively low mileage despite being 30.
We have Newman plus two real good young CBs. Ball has shown some potential. So while I agree they will be looking for one more CB one way or another they will not break the bank or use a high pick on one.

I'm not buying that Scandrick will be this hybrid safety, I would wait until after the draft, before I would designate this position to him. The coaches are just exploring all posibilites. I think that Dallas will draft a guy that can play safety and CB.
