If he turns around on that first TD throw, were he really did nothing, and makes the int. How does that turn around the game around with momentum and keeping Brett at bay and pumps up our D.

I know a "what if" senerio. But that is how games tones are set.

If we would have just scored a TD on either of the first 3 drives, it would have been a different game. I believe that in in a close game, we would have won because of the Brett Favre affect. Eventually he would have started to sling the ball around and we would have gotten turnovers. We never scored so we will never know.

True if he would have seen the ball it would have helped. He did look back a split second to late after that he did not even know the WR had the ball. I hand it to Brett it was a great pass with allot of zip on it for a deep ball.

It seemed like an easy pick.
Could have changed things.

I did see Favre throw balls up with his head back and eyes closed(on the play you mentioned as well). I really thought we had him where we wanted him.

I don't think it would have changed much. We still couldn't protect Romo at all.

Very true. It may have made the game a closer contest but that one play was not going to change the entire outcome. We got our butts handed to us and hopefully this team understands that because only way you can correct it is by accepting it

If he turns around does that keep Flozell from getting hurt or Columbo from getting manhandled? Nope

The final score would have been 27-3 is the only difference.

I strongly disagree. We could have been much more patient with the run in a tie game or with the lead. That doesn't mean that Garrett wouldn't abandon it anyways, but we got one dimensional when we got behind, and that allowed them to tee off on Romo.

Edwards was already killing Columbo. The only thing that might have fixed that was replacing him with Free and that went out the window when Flozell went down. Sens turning around doesn't fix the oline.

It's a what if so who knows.

How about that what if happens and he makes the INT and is tackled around the 10-20 yard line.

Romo goes out there, Edwards, Allen or Williams rushes through the line virtually untouched causing Romo to fumble or throw an INT and the vikings get the ball and score a TD.

So who knows with the what ifs.

Sure it could have changed the game, but that does not always mean for a positive change.

I disagree. I thought we pressed once we got down in the game. If he turns around and makes that interception, the game is much closer. It might have come down to a field goal and the boys might have pulled the upset.

I maintain that the talent difference between those two teams is equal, change a few plays and the game is completely different.

If Sens picks that ball off, if we go for it on 4th and 1, maybe we're playing with the lead.

The we will agree to disagree. An int doesn't change the oline going to crap.

The only thing that would have really changed that game, possibly, was Flo not getting injured so they could have put Free in at RT and shored up our very serious tackle issue for that game.

Anything outside of that would likely have only delayed the inevitable.

Come on. That's not the case and you know it. The whole game changes, yet I still think we ultimately lose by 2 scores.

Now if Flozell doesn't go down. I think we win the game.

Free is now free to step in for Columbo and the jail break type of pressures would have been few and far between.

You don't know that if he turns around we win just like I don't know if the oline doesn't fall apart we win.

For all we know if he turns around something else falls apart.

No.

Doesn't matter.

The offensive line was a beaten puppy no matter what happened on that drive.

These are posts of fans that understand momentum and matchups in football games.

If, for whatever reason, we get the lead, the entire game is played out differently. The fan noise is less, like in N.O.

But once they got ahead, the crowd went crazy and the defense just pinned their ears back and brought the jailbreak.

If the OL can hear Romo and the defense had to respect the run, everything changes.
