Lot's of ifs, but legit ones.
We should have had 10-16 points fairly early in that game...then take away that silly TD and it would have been interesting.
Favre made some great plays--including the second TD as well (which could have been a sack)-- but if you rewatch the game you can see the the D could control things pretty well if they were not put in the hole so much. Also, and early lead obviously diffuses the pass rush to some degree because the run game is more in play. Of course, the crowd is not nearly the factor it was either. It sno-balled on us for sure.
Oh well.

These are posts of fans that understand momentum and matchups in football games.

If, for whatever reason, we get the lead, the entire game is played out differently. The fan noise is less, like in N.O.

But once they got ahead, the crowd went crazy and the defense just pinned their ears back and brought the jailbreak.

If the OL can hear Romo and the defense had to respect the run, everything changes.

Momentum can play a big part and that play would have helped had we made it but that one play in and of itself was not the deciding factor.

We got out butts kicked and to be able to correct that from happening you better understand that you have work to do not oh well if this or that would have happened it is a different game.

That is selling excuses to the team they need to know they played poor and if they do not correct those type of things they will not achive the goals they are looking for.

I don't see it that way.

They aren't that good and we aren't that bad. Playing from behind in that environment, against that defense is almost impossible.

I agree wit this.

I say in 10 games--home and home, they may win 6, with both teams usually winning by <10 pts. That game just sno-balled, but it did highlight some areas that the Cowboys need to work on going forward.
But this is now digressing in a big way.

A better question would be what the hell was Newman doing on that play. Also I did not understand why Sens did not at least shove him out of bounds. Mob debt?

I agree things could have been different but we will never know for sure. I just tip my hat to the Vikes and know we have work to do if we hope to achive the goal.

As for if we played them 30 times in a row who would win the majority of the time I don't know, what I do know is when it counted we did not do the job.

I'm still encouraged by many things I saw from this team but right now the if's and buts don't mean a thing to me.
