Sure Jerry can bring him back to run the Victoria Secrets Store at At&T Stadium.

I agree that Shanahan would be a perfect HC or OC here. I think Murray would flourish as well.

That being said the biggest question for this team will be our defensive line next year.

If we must have an ex-Commander coach, I would rather have Joe Gibbs than Shanahan. He's in the Hall of Fame, and he's younger than our defensive coordinator - only a sprite 73. I looked it up and his lifetime record is 124-60. Get 'er done, Jerry.

I've noticed several other teams bring in former coaches in consulting roles or something similar, sort of like what Jimmy Robinson supposedly is for the Cowboys this year. Why not something like that? The guy knows how to engineer a ZBS running game for sure.

The problem has never been the Head Coaches but Jerry Jones. What is needed is a GM......and that will NEVER happen as long as JJ is holding the keys.

Shanny is a good head coach but I think the game has kind of passed him by. He is more like an old school coach that is fighting the need to adapt. He has had one good season since 2005 and that was only because of RG3 and the defenses not knowing how to stop him yet.

That said, the only NFCE coach I would ever want is Reid and that is pushing it.

Pushing it? Reid is killing it this year. I would trade Garrett for him and not look back.

Pushing it because I hate Philly. I would take Reid over Jason anytime to be clear.

You know, it just now hit me that Reid was Favre's QB coach, and Romo modeled his game after Favre. I mean, I knew those two facts independently of one another, but never really thought about how scary of a combination Romo and Reid would have been. That could have been a match made in NFL heaven.

It would be the ultimate troll of Skins fans everywhere to get Gibbs patrolling out sidelines with a star on his chest. It would be practically worth it whether he won or not.
