This actually would make me feel better. A strong offense and an aggressive defense for Micah.

I've also joked that we should try to get Sanchez from the booth (he's terrible at it) as a QB coach (he was great for Dak way back when).

Unfortunately, those coaches will cost money and if there's one thing our new coordinators will have in common it will be that they're cheap.

I'd love Sanchez in Dak's ear, he was great for him and after he left you could argue daks production dropped off.

Here's a wrench that just got thrown into this mess if Pete Carroll is headed to the Raiders now seems official unless Jerry chimes in and says you'd rather work here I doubt that well given all the crossover that schottenheimer and Pete Carroll know a lot of the same people and if Pete Carroll's been putting together his staff he could be taking a lot of the options that schottenheimer might have had in mind and now it's thrown at curveball it may be what the hold up is with the Cowboys announcing schottenheimer and maybe they're either going a different direction or they're reeling to figure out can they put together a good enough staff to go with schottenheimer if a lot of the options are drying up...hmmm

This would probably be the worst reason to not hire someone of all time. Both those guys have been around the NFL long enough that I doubt that is an issue at all. Carroll went through a long list of coaches in Seattle, and Schottenheimer has had two stops since he coached under Carroll. No matter who the Cowboys hire they will be at a disadvantage hiring assistant coaches as they are either last or 2nd to last in making a hire, plus they have zero coaches under contract currently.
