I dont think Wade suddenly provided that. That being said, props to Wade for coordinating this dominating defense.

Absolutely. No argument with that at all.

I've always been behind Wade's schemes. I just think Brooking is what has transpired this defense to their current performance.

Our defense has been lights out the second half of the season with the exception of the Giants game and that part of Chargers game after Ware went out with the neck sprain.

The only thing that really needs improvement is some of the underneath coverages in the zones. We also could use a better coverage backer against all the athletic TEs that seem to be around these days. Maybe Jason Williams can do this for us next season.

I would still like a little more ballhawkng out of the safety position but their tackling has been good and they aren't letting people behind them.

Spencer and Jenkins stepping up had a little bit to do with it. I think Sensabaugh has been a major factor, too. Spears has had his best season as a pro and Olshansky has AT LEAST replaced Canty.

The Jets have given up 7 non-offensive TDs to only 2 by us, and that gets credited to the D. More of a compliment of how much better our return coverage has been compared to their Offense giving up 5 of those 7 TDs.


That said, only them and Baltimore have given up fewer Offensive TDs than us.
