If the Bengals score 14 or more points...

Chill with the merge stuff, mods will handle it.
Don't let it bother you. That stuff helps us. We miss things now and then.

Pitching two shutouts in row is huge going into the playoffs!

If Cincy scores 13 points against the Jets, we are the NO 1 defense in points allowed.

Correction: 15 points (thanks Biggems)

We had 35 minutes of TOP against the Skins and 40 minutes today.

Don't discount what a great running game has meant to the defense.

I think many fans don't understand how big a deal this is. 40 minutes is absolutely insane, especially against another playoff team. You can credit either Romo or Garrett for this, or both if you're feeling charitable, as the offense did a magnificent job of extending drives and converting 3rd downs.

It is absolutely insane. This offense is on a huge roll. It's funny to say that when it's the defense that has posted two consecutive shutouts. The Cowboys are functioning on all cylinders. Even Suisham's miss is tempered by the fact he made a 44 yarder, giving up some hope. If Philly had played their best game today, they still would've lost. The Cowboys are better than the Eagles. It feels good to FINALLY be able to say that. Now they have to go prove it. Again.

Our defense has been lights out the second half of the season with the exception of the Giants game and that part of Chargers game after Ware went out with the neck sprain.

The only thing that really needs improvement is some of the underneath coverages in the zones. We also could use a better coverage backer against all the athletic TEs that seem to be around these days. Maybe Jason Williams can do this for us next season.

I would still like a little more ballhawkng out of the safety position but their tackling has been good and they aren't letting people behind them.

I thought that was Bobby Carpenter's forte?

The Bengals are lookin' pretty bad and it wouldn't surprise me if they pull Palmer soon.

Tell that to T-RO. You don't need to run the ball to be successful in this league.

he may be the best we have which is why he is on the field but it doesn't mean his great at it. We need someone who is a better athlete at the position and someone who is almost more of a safety/LB hybrid which coverage skills.

Didn't you hear? The Eagles were not even trying.;)

This is getting ugly. I keep looking for the ref to stop the fight.
