For this thread let's set the parameters that none of the teams from other Power 5 conferences can be added so no adding LSU and Ohio State or Arkansas and Florida state.
So Pick two teams you would like to see added to get the Big 12 back to 12 teams.
I would like to see two teams from the eastern section added to help WVU with traveling situations and split the conference to a east and west division.
However even with that said I think the team with the highest profile out there (even if they don't play on Sundays) is BYU. So I could understand that just for the Name value and fans nationwide.
Part of me would like to see one of the UCF or USF added to get a foothold in Florida. Currently WVU does a good deal of recruiting in there but I think it would be a good foothold for the Big 12. The problem is which one has the higher upside. At one time I would have said USF...Now It could be UCF.
The other three names that could make sense would be Cincy, Uconn and Memphis.
Uconn and Memphis would help add to the Big 12 basketball brand more than football as neither have a very good football program at this time.
Of those three Cincy probably has the best balance of Football and Basketball.
