So going with McCarthy for a 4th year would be doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result type of insanity but sticking with Prescott for an 8th year wouldn't.
If we were to apply that theory to your posting, you continue to do the same attempted humor thing over and over and it is still weak and unfunny. So, does that mean you are insane?

I believe ,if the boys don't win the SB, Mcarthy and Moore should go and Peyton be hired.
Staying with Mcarthy would be like doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
INSANITY
I would hope a new HC and OC in a new system would help Dak ,and get more discipline on this team.
JMO
I would lower your expectations. Take it one week at a time and see where we end up.

If they lose and we can’t move the ball at all, which happened in the last playoff game, Moore has got to go. He’s the last link in the JG stench outside of Britt Brown!

Even before the season, this was not a SB or bust team. With the state of the OL and the receiving corps and the secondary, even going to the SB would be a huge surprise right now, so making it an ultimatum for McCarthy seems completely irrational.

Fans couldn’t stand him when was our OC under Parcels. This board used to explode every time the Cowboys would lose a game with SP as our OC. Zimmer too. Sought of like the same stuff you are hearing about Moore.
What? That is simply not the case. There was no official OC in Dallas during the 2005 season. Peyton never held the title OC in Dallas. There is always someone on the board complaining but that doesn't make them correct. Moore doesn't look like he's on a HOF track.

You may be right. It might be time to make a change. After all, it seems to have worked for the Eagles. ;):p

I honestly can't think of a more absurd standard than what you've outlined.

If the Cowboys play (not win) in the NFCCG, your 'insanity' comment doesn't even apply.

Unless we're blown out by the Bucs the way Washington blew us out, MM will be back next year. He's the most successful coach in 15 years, so he's not going anywhere.

Moore should go no matter what we do. We can't win important games with a dumb offensive coordinator like KM. We have had little regular season success DESPITE of him.

Nothing is going to help Prescot play better, NOTHING! He's proven over the past couple of seasons that he is what he is and that's an over hyped, overpaid, less than mediocre QB. He just doesn't have what it takes to win meaningful games in this league. Way too many times he's played down to his competition and it's sucked the energy out of his teammates. The slow starts, the number of 3 and outs, not to mention all the interceptions this year are fricking alarming. Jimmy Johnson was correct when he said all you have to do is pressure him a little and the dude comes unglued and starts throwing off the wall passes to his receivers and TEs. He's showing that he can't read defenses and doesn't have the abilities to look for options when his go to person is locked down and when his receiver or TE is locked down his throws in that direction anyway. There is no common sense with dude, none, if he did have common sense he would stop going to the podium game after game saying how lousy he is and he's going to get better! Watching Prescot play is like watching the movie Groundhog Day............He's a fricking joke of a QB and shame on all of us for thinking he was the answer, because he's not!

I'm not a super fan of MM and I would fire Kellen irrespective of our results this year.. I just don't like his scheme and playcalling.. BUT

No way do I think you should have to 'win' a SB to keep your job. My big issue with MM is the questionable clock management.. still made one or two errors this year that were head scratchers.. but overall he has taken the squad to 12-5 two years running.. and I like the look of our overall team.

I think if we fail in the playoffs again.. then yes you make changes.. but if he gets us to championship game and we lose marginally.. then that would still be a 'winning' season for mine.

Agree. Moore is definitely not a HOF but SP and Zimmer did not have a lot of fans on this board back in the day.
