Welcome to today's society, where everyone wants everything NOW, and if they don't get it NOW, they throw a temper tantrum.

If McCarthy makes it to the Super Bowl but loses. He should still be considered coach of the year. The online is banged up. The secondary is banged up. We could use another receiver. Our linebackers are banged up. The team went 12-5 with 5 games Cooper Rush as the backup.

Nothing is going to help Prescot play better, NOTHING! He's proven over the past couple of seasons that he is what he is and that's an over hyped, overpaid, less than mediocre QB. He just doesn't have what it takes to win meaningful games in this league. Way too many times he's played down to his competition and it's sucked the energy out of his teammates. The slow starts, the number of 3 and outs, not to mention all the interceptions this year are fricking alarming. Jimmy Johnson was correct when he said all you have to do is pressure him a little and the dude comes unglued and starts throwing off the wall passes to his receivers and TEs. He's showing that he can't read defenses and doesn't have the abilities to look for options when his go to person is locked down and when his receiver or TE is locked down his throws in that direction anyway. There is no common sense with dude, none, if he did have common sense he would stop going to the podium game after game saying how lousy he is and he's going to get better! Watching Prescot play is like watching the movie Groundhog Day............He's a fricking joke of a QB and shame on all of us for thinking he was the answer, because he's not!
.....now tell us about Air Coryell Jr........Dak's success or failures are linked to him, whether you realize it or not.

So going with McCarthy for a 4th year would be doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result type of insanity but sticking with Prescott for an 8th year wouldn't.
It’s the cowboy way how many years did they stick with Romo

I believe ,if the boys don't win the SB, Mcarthy and Moore should go and Peyton be hired.
Staying with Mcarthy would be like doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
INSANITY
I would hope a new HC and OC in a new system would help Dak ,and get more discipline on this team.
JMO
Big Mike ain’t going nowhere his jobs secure now they can make a case for Quinn being gone especially if the defense craps the bed again in playoffs

Moore had #1 offense 2 years running our only hope is someone grabs him

Peyton is not getting hired in Dallas, Jerry isn't going to give up control of player personnel that Payton would demand....McCarthy isn't going anywhere, jerry pretty much guaranteed that when he stated this week the results of the Tampa game wouldn't effect McCarthy...Moore on the other hand is a different issue, he may be shown the door after the Tampa game is the offense doesn't perform well....

Agree. Moore is definitely not a HOF but SP and Zimmer did not have a lot of fans on this board back in the day.

Nobody knew SP's name b/c the whole coaching staff was overshadowed by Parcels. I don't remember a lot of complainers. There was a lot of hope after the dark campo years, and it was obvious BP was building something. Expectations were not high at the time. We had no QB.

Yes, the QB situation was a mess after Aikman left, but I do remember a lot of fans on this board not being happy with both Sean Payton and Mike Zimmer and happy to see them leave. I didn't think that they were that bad but I would not give the Saints a #1 pick for the right to have Sean Payton coach the Cowboys. I do not think he is that much of an upgrade.

So then if Payton is hired how long does he get? If does not win the SB in 2023 season is he gone?

They are not that different. If you want to change OC's then fine but that probably sets Dak back 1 year as he's been in the same offence his entire nfl career. But it's definately time to get a new QB coach too.
Maybe that's what he needs.

I'm no big fan of McCarthy, but only one team each year can win the SB. I lean towards getting rid of him and more so if we go "one and done" again and get out "physicalled", out coached and have the same penalty, turnover and time management issues, but in your scenario if he takes us to the SB and loses a close one you fire him, but if we win you keep him? Seems misguided. This team needs playoff success, but winning a SB is a pretty unlikely outcome this year

That means you have to get rid of Jerry also. Nothing will change or matter if you don't.

No Dak should go for whatever pennies we can get for him. He and Zeke have become dumpster trash.

Yep, it's strange how Quinn appears to be above criticism. He appears unable to adapt as teams worked us out.

He isnt making 40 mil a year. the QB is an easy target and while he is definately part of the problem hes not the only one nor is he the biggest that defense should make every fan a bit worried. Im not a big fan of Moores situational calls sometime but when i look at the big pic Im more worried about the defense

Just further proof the board has always had a large contingent of morons that aren't representative of the larger fanbase.

Exactly! A lot of arm chair QBs, coaches and GMs on this board! Seems like the ones with the strongest and most opinions are not always right.

Well, the more opinions you post, the more likely you are to get some right and wrong. I post opinions on here and I'm not always right. But, there are some that refuse to admit defeat and will defend their opinion to the bitter end.
