At this point CR would come in. Lance is most definitely not ready. Rush would give the best chance to win. He went 4-1 last year if I’m not mistaken. He definitely sees the field and anticipates better than DP but his arm strength is lacking. I want to see him play soon if we continue to struggle.

It is the most practical thing to do, but for contract reasons, nothing else. Dallas could probably win 10 games with Rush at QB, why do they need to pay someone 40M a year to win 12 and get stomped in the playoffs?

Dak's contract is too prohibitive to do anything but extend him. Dallas has one option to move on from Dak. They have to make him a June 1st cut after this season. There are no other options. They can't let him play out his last year. A lot of fans are going to be very unhappy when Dak gets extended. Including myself.

We don’t expect anything right away. That’s for Niners fans to enjoy when they drafted Purdy. I mean it took a whole 5 games to realize they found their next franchise QB from the 7th round….impossible, right?

Just impossible to find a new franchise quarterback so let’s not even try. Let’s just extend Dak another 4 years and give the process time to work
