Dak is on the same level as Keenum.
He's a level above Mariota.
He's below Cam.
Brady is old.

You serious Clark?Yet Case Keenum-not Dak Prescott- has led his team to an NFC Championship game.
Dak has proven repeatedly that he will flounder against real competition.
And Mariota is a victim of timing; the Titans got their act together towards the end of the season, but Mariota had led them to what should have been wins and lost due to dropped passes and missed field goals.
The Cowboys lost because Dak missed wide open receivers and threw the ball into the ground.
You may not have watched Keenum or Mariota, but you have seen Dak Prescott choke repeatedly in big games.
I would be very interested in Ryan Tannehill. I've always thought he just needed to get out of Miami.
And he wouldn't cost $35 million a year.
And I think Teddy Bridgewater could absolutely do what Dak is doing, but for a lot less money. Same for Andy Dalton.
Cam Newton is going to be available. He would be amazing in Dallas.
I'd rather see Dallas get Cam than pay big money for Dak.
And more.
- Case Keenum is available. He led the Vikings to the NFC Championship game. He is a better deal than Dak.
- Marcus Mariota will be available. He would be better.
- Tom Brady will probably be available.
As I said, I will back Dak if they sign him.
But there are much better options.

Keenum IS better.
It's not even close.
What's the goal here? To just save money or to actually try to make a SB run soon?
None of those three give the Cowboys a better chance at a run over the next few years than Dak. Keenum is blah. Mariota is limited. Brady is about done in terms of being a good QB due to age.
So sure, don't pay Dak but don't list those three guys as better options to win in the near future.

you know he is an alcoholic, so a couple too many and there he goes again...Man.....I thought your idiocy at the ranch was just an act.
nope- this is really you.
do you ever get tired?

so you used to go on rants about Garrett being an awful coach...legendary drunk rants at the ranch....and even here.....yet here you criticize Dak who played for garrett. and if Keenum is that good, why do teams keep letting him go....Yet Case Keenum-not Dak Prescott- has led his team to an NFC Championship game.

he had one more drink so less sense...there is a direct ratio of drinks to stupidity with this guyHuh? You make less and less sense.
I have watched both Keenum and Mariota many times. They are both terrible. What's funny is that you accuse others of not watching them, when it's blatantly obvious that you have not!!!!!!
so you just spoke from both sides of your mouth.Wow.
What an intelligent post that has nothing to do with the subject.
So, I assume you think Dak-despite the fact that he choked when things got tough and cost the Cowboys the division title- is the best deal for the Cowboys, even if they have to pay him top money?
That's what the thread is about.
I think the Cowboys can do better if Dak is going to cost a multi-year deal at $30-35 million per year.
I would sure hate to know the Cowboys put that much of their salary cap into a guy that hasn't played good against the tougher teams.
Let's face it: Dak is a holdover from Jason Garrett. Garrett chose him and abandoned Romo-after wasting Romo's entire career- and Jason thought Dak would make all of his dreams come true.
But Dak was like Garrett in the fact that he never had to earn his spot. He never learned to face pressure, and was forgiven when he would choke.
Then Dak was made team Captain in just his second season, further inflating his ego and further ignoring the fact that he had not achieved anything.
So this season, when things got tough, Dak seemed to have no problem just sitting back and waiting for someone else to lead the Cowboys. He quit on the team and let the season disappear.
Why? Because he has never had to earn anything.
He doesn't understand that it was his responsibility to make the Cowboys better.
So, yeah; if the Cowboys are going to have vhf to pay top dollar, they can do better than Dak.
LOL. I am glad you remember. it was comical. his argument that Kellen Moore is better than Romo and Kellen Moore is HOF type QB....The Ranch lives!!! Tell these guys how great a QB helen Moore was Lee!

No, the NFL's best defense led that team to the NFC championship game, where they lost miserably, although admittedly Keenum had a strong game in the division round of the playoffs. But it was the defense that carried them through the season. By the way, I find it interesting that you are willing to ignore Keenum's entire career except that one season where he fell into just the right situation.Yet Case Keenum-not Dak Prescott- has led his team to an NFC Championship game.

Cam and Keenum suck btw. This is just getting embarrassing.
That poster was yet another example of posters only being able to see things in extremes.Neither of them suck. Whether either would be better for the team than Dak is certainly debatable, but these guys are't scrubs.
