If the Cowboys beat the 49ers, will you be happy?

I'd be elated in terms of finally beating a team that had owned us, but it would only be because their injuries are worse than ours .

It's funny because before the season I penciled in losses to the Browns and steelers as well as the niners.

I hope to be wrong with all 3.

Edit. For those wishing for losses, I get that stance but please understand that even a 0-17 season doesn't change this FO

At this point bro it's a toss up, all they really have to do is control the clock on us, and score when necessary. They're missing offensive weapons, but they still have defensive guys in there to do the job. If we beat them i'll be happy, but not fully happy because they weren't playing with all their guys/neither are we!

I'll always be happy with a Cowboys victory. Felt the same even during Landry's last season, Jimmy's 1st season, and the lean Campo years.

Won't change my view of the 2024 offseason, the Owner/GM/President, the EVP, and the lack of talent this 2024 team has in comparison to the 2022 and 2023 teams.

And even if we had the same rosters, Shanahan can outscheme MM every time.

Why or why not?

Of course I'd absolutely love to beat that disgusting team. I can't stand them, and want to see them suffer.

That does NOT mean I'll suddenly believe we have corrected course and are on our way. It's going to take more than a win against a struggling, beat up team to convince me we are worthy. We blew it this off season and until I see substantial evidence to the contrary all I can do is take it a game at a time.

A win is a win is a win. I don't understand the tanking for a draft pick crowd and I am a Sixers fan, which I guess is more of an example to not tank.

I would be stoked. It would be similar to when Dak and company were young and went up to GB and won. Romo in Seattle as well. It’s our current nemesis, and even with the injuries with them it will be awesome.

Then we can go to Atlanta and lose….;)

Why or why not?

no...it would be against a weaker team. still doesn't make us a superbowl ready team and pushes us down the draft board and it gives Jerry another week's excuse to continue to do what he does, which is absolutely nothing.

this team needs to be embarassed, talked about in negative light incessantly and fans revolting for Jerry to take action and get the message. he has to hurt in the pocket for him to get it.

If SF was playing at full strength I would be shocked to see Dallas pull it out, but not exactly happy about it. Their pride has taken a massive beating over the past 2 weeks so I expect the effort to be a little better. However, SF is so crippled on offense that beating them won't be much of an accomplishment, especially if Dallas follows it up with another bad performance next week.

By the way, the SF defense is close to or at full strength and the Dallas offense has been terrible. Thake that for what its worth. In the end it may not matter how the Dallas defense does against SF's 2nd team offense if the Dallas offense can't put points on the board.
