If the Cowboys beat the 49ers, will you be happy?

I would be happy because I am always happy when the Cowboys win. I predict a 6-11 season but I would be happy to be wrong about that and see them finish 11-6.

But, if the asked me what would make you happier, an 6-11 record or a 8-9 record with Dallas out of the playoffs, I would say the 6-11 record. Why? Because an 8-9 record with the injuries we had might cause Jerry to think his way of doing things is working. He might feel a bit vindicated using the injuries as an excuse for missing the playoffs by a couple of games. I think this team need to change and that is not going to happen unless Jerry is delivered a strong message. I am hoping losing is that message.

And of course there are the draft implications. Getting a top 10 pick is much better than picking around 16-18. 6-11 was good for a top 10 pick last year.

Why or why not?

Happy? I sense a trap here! By a real pro.

But I'll take the hook anyway.

I'll be happy for a week anyway. What would really make me truly happy is getting in the playoffs with a strong showing. It doesn't have to be super bowl. Just play respectfully. That would make me happy all spring and summer- football wise.

GB, NO, BAL and DET weren't embarrassing enough for you?

Keep in mind, those beatdowns were at home also.
for a team NOT 80's bengals or late 80's cowboys...it SHOULD be an extreme embarrassment.

But for jerry and many fans....they just could not care any less about it. They'd rather fight fellow fans about THEIR fanship. Odd.

Happier than if they lost.

49ers arent so great this year, but a win IN San Francisco is respectable, even vs their depleted roster.

Would be a step In the right direction

I’d love to see Dallas whup the 49ers. With all of SF’s injuries it is a golden opportunity to finally take them out.

With that being said, I’m not sure it would change my season outlook for this team, but it would be nice to get that W and some form of revenge for those playoff losses.

There we go...even in our "turmoil" (and maybe theirs?)...go in there and whoop 'em. If that is our season highlight...well okay then!

Meh....the Cowboys will be lucky to get into the playoffs so what's the point? A good win here and there? If the do get in it's likely to be one & done...again. Until fans stop supporting the Cowboys, they will never win a SB again. Winning isn't Jerry's only priority. Making money off the brand is as equally important. That is why we will never get close to a SB again.

I'll always be happy with a Cowboys victory. Felt the same even during Landry's last season, Jimmy's 1st season, and the lean Campo years.

Won't change my view of the 2024 offseason, the Owner/GM/President, the EVP, and the lack of talent this 2024 team has in comparison to the 2022 and 2023 teams.
^ My comment could not be phrased better. :starspin:

Yes. I’m feeling like a miserable ******* in regards to this sport right now and I’d like to make the niners miserable as well.

Everyone should know my position by now. I hope the Cowboys get smoked! My dear friend Jerry deserves it.

Yeah, I'm that petty. And to the OP, no, I'm not going to go find another team, so don't even try that.
