Knowing Jerry Jones, it will be Mike McCarthy unless the team suffers a Wade Phillips-type in-season team meltdown, that may or may not include a beat down defeat during the losing streak.

Do you think Belichick would ever consider coaching for the Joneses or they would consider paying him what he's making in NE?
I don’t think money would be the issue, I would think it would be more of sharing the credit. I’m not sure that that’s true either. I don’t know what the issue is with Jerry

Some of this depends on how the Joneses look at the NFC and the competition McC faced.

The Cowboys do not have the most talented team in the NFC.

He's the ringmaster of the media circus in Dallas, not a Belichick thing.

If McC stumbles, I think the job is Quinn's and I think that is already agreed upon. Quinn would be an easy sale to the fans and media.

He's a fan of the team, if he ran this team like he ran his business, this team would have won a Superbowl in the last 28 years, but he makes to many Football decisions with regards to players and coaches based on his relationship with those players or coaches....Can't run a successful business or Football team that way!

Loyalty. It’s a tough thing in football. i’ve always said Jerry doesn’t mind spending the money. He just doesn’t know how to spend it.

I still remember the day when the Jets held a press conference announcing Belichick as their new head coach. And I remember seeing the news of Belichick quitting the next day to take over the Patriots.

Someone with Belichick's personality would be difficult for someone like Jones to sign on the dotted line.

I don’t think they already agreed-upon it, that wouldn’t be good for morale. But there could be a wink wink lol

Morale would only be affected if the coaching staff and team knew it. I think it is an agreement between Booger and Quinn and that's how he kept him.

That informal agreement between Jones and Quinn would be extremely difficult to keep secret from McCarthy.
