If the Cowboys suck this year...

Rebuild...even if we don't win in the playoffs this year I would start. Failing late in the year so many years in a row means that core players can't get the job done.

And our number 2 and 3 receivers couldn't catch a ball when they were single-covered... Imagine that... We couldn't run the ball, even when they were dropping safeties back to double-cover TO... If Garrett is calling plays like he did this year, 7-9 is likely, and I say 7, because we probably have some weak opponents in the mix...

TO did demand a lot of attention from opposing defenses even when he wasn't making plays. When you look at how Garrett ran the offense last season it's not to far fetched to think we'll be a 6 win team. The guy couldn't make the running game work even when team where not stacking the line i just can't see how he's going to make it work when people don't respect our passing game. Romo will just find someone else to force the ball too it's not like TO was the only player he was doing that with either

Maybe a we could trade down several dozen times and draft Mr. Irrelevant. You might be familiar with him? Really good kid but throws like an unathletic girl. Has a chance to stick on Special Teams and maybe as a H-Back.

Fix what's broken.

Even at 5-11/4-12, not everyone on this team would be responsible for such a collapse. For the offense, it likely would be because we need another quality receiver and the offensive line continued last year's struggles.

On defense, it likely would be because our line couldn't hold up and our changes to the pass defense didn't work.

Build around Romo, Witten and the running backs on offense, and Ware, Ratliff and Newman on defense (might can throw in James).
