If the cowboys won would we still be calling for Dak?

considering the game played out the exact same with rush having 3 ints... what if we had won the game though. Would we still be calling for dak? Or would we ride with the guy who keeps winning games?

I for one am ready for dak to come back but that loss made it a lot easier of a decision.

If we had won I wonder if it would still be as easy...

Yes, JJ insists that Dak plays. As long as the Cowboys are in the media, and the fans buy his jersey (why I don't know), that is all JJ cares about, winning is second, maybe even third.

It wouldn't matter what we called for, but it would have definitely stirred more debate.

Despite Jerry's desire for attention, they were always going back to Dak when he's cleared to play. Stephen and McCarthy have said that, repeatedly.

Does not matter as Dallas lost, Rush did not play as well as he could have, and Dak was medically cleared so now it's Dak's turn to guide the offense and we wait to see what happens.

They named him starter this week before the paint was dry from the Eagles game. Without a single ball thrown this week to see how he feels.

I am of the opinion he was ready for the Eagles game, but for whatever reason, they held him out. Reeks of a Jerry decision to me.

Dak could win a Super Bowl, save your house from a wildfire and give you $10,000 and a Sleep Number bed as a 'sorry that happened to you' and certain people would still be livid with him because he stepped on one of your petunias.

Dallas didn't win, they lost. There are an infinite number of possibilities of what could have happened but didn't. It is pointless to consider any of them. For example, what if the Cowboys lost 59-0 because Rush threw 15 interceptions? Would anyone be posting hypotheticals about Rush vs Dak?

Dak should be starting this week regardless of what happened Sunday night.

Cooper Rush did a good job filling in but we did not win any football games BECAUSE of Cooper Rush. We won 4 in a row because our defense dominated.

Dak Prescott will start not because Jerry demands it or any other weird stuff you guys come up with, but because he is the better QB.

You can argue that he is not worth 40 million dollars but he is a better QB than Cooper Rush.

My argument for Rush remaining in the lineup stemmed from his efficiency, good decisions, and lack of turnovers. Take those out of the equation and it makes no sense in playing him over a more explosive player in Dak.

I may not be calling for Rush but I’m sure as heck not calling for Dak.

No matter how you frame the questions, Dak is still the better athlete. It seems the anti-Dakkers continue their weak attempts to get people to admit they are right.

I have doubts about Dak. But I also think this Eagles game, a night and day first half/ second half showed a similarity we see with Dak.

He is a bus driver. You can win with a bus driver, but you must build the team around him so he can thrive. That means a solid front five on offense that can open running lanes and protect during passing plays. That also includes a defense which is strong enough to control games and prevent getting into a shootout.

The future of this franchise finding the Brady, Allen, Mahomes QB is slim and none. The team's results keep them in the middle of the pack in regard to drafting. So acquiring that Micah type generational player for the QB position is virtually unattainable. The alternative is a disgruntled QB - someone like Rodgers, although I am not recommending Rodgers at all - who has the power to jump ship and come to the Cowboys.

But the salary that player would demand will send this fandom into a hissy fit. Because, for some reason, you people act like it is your money.

Yes. Let's face it, Dak's no Brady, but even if he's only very slightly better than Rush, he'd play. And he does have more time in on the field with Lamb, etc. so also from that standpoint, he's just the better option...
