If the cowboys won would we still be calling for Dak?

I just hope the play calling stays the same. I’m gonna be upset if dak is out there throwin 30+ times a game, but I agree it’s time to go back to dak regardless of the outcome of the eagles game

So he threw for 100 yards....and won....against the defending Super Bowl Champions. Your point is what again?
That he wasn't a big contributer to the win. With him at qb we have one of the worst offensive epa in the league.

So in 2016 when Dak threw for 139 yards vs. MINN he had nothing to do with the win....when he threw for 143 vs. WASH in 2017 he had nothing to do with the win....in 2018 the 160 yards vs. NYG meant nothing....nor did the 188 vs. CAR in 2021.....so to you the starting QB, when he doesn't throw for a lot, in spite of being the starting QB deserves no credit.

Keep that in mind going forward.

Some here would call for Dak regardless. They have already many times in the past.
They place blame for his failures on anyone but him.
Because they are Dak fans, not Cowboys fans.

We're not going to go where we want to go unless Dak returned. Just hope he returns to form.

considering the game played out the exact same with rush having 3 ints... what if we had won the game though. Would we still be calling for dak? Or would we ride with the guy who keeps winning games?

I for one am ready for dak to come back but that loss made it a lot easier of a decision.

Realistic fans yes, the haters no. They want to keep riding with the guy who tossed 3 picks against a team Prescott owns!

In my opinion DAk could have played against the Eagles I think he was fully ready especially since they made him the starter next week without even seeing him practice.

Dak is the starter he needs to get back as soon as possible and establish a chemistry with his receivers.

Cooper Rush did everything in his skill set to try and win and save our season. We all knew he was overmatched against the Eagles.

It was time for Dak to play then and it's time for Dak to play now.

The Lions bears and a bye week should give Dak a very smooth transition back

No. But we don't want to return to the guy who chokes everytime he has to play a big game.
Prescott has had six years to do better; Rush has had six games.

Does not matter as Dallas lost, Rush did not play as well as he could have, and Dak was medically cleared so now it's Dak's turn to guide the offense and we wait to see what happens.
I predict something will happen yes it will

Dak's cap hit is 100m this year, 90m next year, and is Jerrys featured player. Jerrys not going to let him sit on the bench if he's healthy

Dak was always getting his job back. Our staff put Rush in a bad spot. Elliot was hot and should have been 20 plus totes. If they dumped the ball off with shorter passes and play actioned then longer stuff would be opened later in the game.

Yes
He’s the starting QB
Cooper showed to be a viable backup and that’s amazing for him
He did his job and did it well
But his limitations are obvious
The guy was cut right before the season and not one team went after him, even as a backup
He did it just well enough, at least until the Eagles game. Diminishing returns each successive game.

If we had won I wonder if it would still be as easy...

Five more years of 1 and outs in the playoffs and the Dak barnacles and Jerry still would be pleading for more.

I think what we need to do now is evaluate Dak when he comes back. The first week of the season is a bad measuring stick. Lets see how our offense looks with Dak in the next 2-4 weeks. Our offense with Rush, win or lose, was adequate at best.
