If the draft fell like this, and you couldn't trade back

Ya I know
Thing is...as 2QB’s drop to 12.....
Trade cost vrs potential become too tempting...
Odds are Cowboys get offers
Someone is going to want to come up for something. I remember the same stuff was said last year and we got a third.

No trading down.

Probably pick up S Sanders. Easily the most marketable player available. Pick up his brother in 6th or 7th, and see what the carnival brings.

1. Titans- QB Cam Ward, Miami
2. Browns- CB/WR Travis Hunter, Colorado
3. Giants- DE Abdul Carter, Penn State
4. Patriots- WR Tet McMillan, Arizona
5. Jaguars- DT Mason Graham, Michigan
6. Raiders- RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
7. Jets- RT Armand Membou, Missouri
8. Panthers- Edge/LB Jalon Walker, Georgia
9. Saints- CB Will Johnson, Michigan
10. Bears- DE Mykel Williams, Georgia
11. 49ers- T/G Will Campbell, LSU

If only 1 QB goes before the Cowboys pick, it really hurts.
Choices:
WR Matthew Golden, Texas
TE Tyler Warren, Penn State
T/G Kelvin Banks, Texas
G Tyler Booker, Alabama
Edge Mike Green, Marshall
DE Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
DB Jahdae Barron, Texas

None of the picks are Ideal and trading down requires another team to want to move up for one of these guys. If you have to stay put and pick, who would it be.

For me I would go with
1. G Booker
2. Edge Green
3. DB Barron

Not having a player there that really jumps off the page, my thinking would be to just draft the safest player.
Booker is the least likely player to bust, from this list; in my opinion. The Interior line becomes a strength and the team has said they want to run the ball a lot this season.

I would also sign T Tyron Smith after the draft to play swing tackle for a year. If signed after the draft he doesn't affect the comp pick formula. It would be nice to have a failsafe for Guyton and Steele.

What would you do if it went like this. Everyone is just assuming that multiple QB's are taken before 12.
Id take Harmon. But Im high on him

I don't know if they would pass on the talent of T Warren for Green and his baggage. I don't theink SS is worth the pick at 12. Could go Barron too

I would draft Draft Shedeur Sanders.
With the Giants signing Winston they very well could pass up a QB.

I heard rumblings that Jaxson Dart could go in the top 11.
Having 3 QBs go before 12 would be great.

Easily golden for me in this scenario. I also don't see us being able to trade back in the 1st round of this draft.

To me this would be GREAT, it would scream TRADE DOWN if we could find someone, someone especially who would wow at the thought of drafting Sanders! Hell maybe we just draft him!??

I'm not sure resources on the OL with the first pick is helpful UNLESS we plan on putting him out there, we're known to be cheap and like to use the guys we have in house, why not try them out. We can get a OG etc in other rounds/day 3

TRADE DOWN to Seattle who has (2) second round draft picks, get one of them

why's that?????

You must take QB Sanders. He's a big risk but because of the potential to turn this franchise around they need to l take that risk.

Dart or Sanders for sure

Taking Tyler Warren would not be a consolation prize. He will be an impact player in the NFL.

The rest of the guys on the list are solid, although I don't like either of the offensive linemen that early. Also, it seems like there should be other options. If you are willing to take anyone else on that list, then you might as well consider guys like Grant and Harmon.
