Anything can happen. GB might just release Favre to go with their future Aaron Rogers and get him ready. But then Favre might just retire rather then go to another team. But lets say he is released and wants to play for another team. Do we go after Favre and make him a Cowboy.

I would say a big YES!

If we got Favre we would not have to make as many improvements on the OL like we would for Bledsoe. If everything went good and we signed Center LeCharles Bently and Peterman is fully recovered from his injury and could replace Rivera. Then our OL would be better. Flo will be back next year to.

I would love to have T.O. in Dallas but with Favre we would not need him as much cuz he would make Witten and Glenn and also Key alot more dangerous then they are now with Bledsoe.

Favre is much faster at making his throws and much faster at reads and making choices.

I hope GB does release Favre and he still wants to play. He would be a huge improvement over Bledsoe and he still has a few years left.

The big dif between Favre and Bledsoe is this........

Favre could carry this team to wins.

The team needs to carry Bledsoe to wins.

I'm not a fan of Bledsoe either.

But if we ignore the OL again this offseason, not even Superman or Batman can function at QB.

Conjecture... and not happening...

From most insider accounts, GB is keeping Sherman around next year so Favre WILL come back... they aren't sold on Rogers and they aren't releasing Favre...

Our OL really sucked fast after Adams was lost. He will be back next year and that will help. Larry Allen has another year maybe 2 of good play but not great play.

Center is by far the biggest weakness on the OL. The FA I would really like to sign even more then T.O. would be LeCharles Bently. He would be a huge improvement at Center.

The other thing is if Peterman is ready to go after this year from his injury he should have no problem beating out Rivera so there is another improvement.

Pettiti is really a big question. If a good tackle is out there in FA that is under 30 I say sign him.

We need some help on the OL that is for sure.

Yep-with all the arguing and fighting with Chiefs fans here, even they've all but empathized with Adams' loss 'cuz they went through it with their own LT earlier(Roaf).

IMHO-Tucker has been fine, for the most part. However, with the LT, unlike the other members of the OL, there's this special "trust" factor with their QB-especially with him blocking his blind side et al. Adams and Roaf established it with Bledsoe and Green. However-when backups come in, it just won't be there at all.

No way Favre plays anywhere but Green Bay. If he sniffs a release coming, he'll retire.

There is the correct answer.

Besides, what makes anyone think he would come here instead of retire?

Heck no.

A move like that would set this Franchise back another 2-3 years.

Might as well put in Romo.

Isn't that why we keep Romo around anyway, because of his supposed Favre like qualities?

FWIW-he, unlike Henson, was a Parcells pick.

And come to think of it, a 1/2 dozen teams wanted to trade for him in the offseason.

Not really.

The put Tony Romo in because Tony plays alot better than Henson does. In the Preseason anyway.

Possibly

The CONTEXT my of statement was "Isn't that why we keep Romo around anyway, because of his supposed Favre like qualities?"

Thus I explained that he plays more than Henson in the PreSeason is because he outplays him.

Putting Romo and Favre in the same sentence on this message board should be crime. Anyone caught doing so should be forced to spend a whole week by his/her self in the Chat Room with NJCowboy and listen to him throwout all kinds of delightful and inspiring Epiphanies.

Henson was a Parcells' pick, gave up even more for him than he did Romo
