If the Pack releases Favre should we get him.

As John Madden would say...

"Brett Favre is the Brett Favre of Football."

"That field is half real, half fake, but Favre is all real."

"You could cut off both Brett Favre's arms and legs and he'd still be the best torso in football."

"Brett Favre can hit any target. You could put him in Afghanistan and he'd hit Osama Bin Laden."

Henson was a Parcells' pick, gave up even more for him than he did Romo

Huh? I thought it was JERRY that made the trade for Henson-which apparently upset Parcells at the time.(and reports last offseason apparently said he and Jerry were going at it briefly for the first time b/c Jerry wanted one Drew while Bill wanted the other Drew)

never heard, or seen, such reports, and ask Concord Cowboy about my recollection ;)

but if you have them written down somewhere, I can be persuaded

Anything can happen. GB might just release Favre to go with their future Aaron Rogers and get him ready. But then Favre might just retire rather then go to another team. But lets say he is released and wants to play for another team. Do we go after Favre and make him a Cowboy.

I would say a big YES!

Favre is DONE. This would be the worst move since Galloway for us.

Nah-Favre may end his career in N'Awlins 'cuz he grew up in that area.

He WOULD be a huge improvement over Aaron Brooks too. :D

It's nice to know that in addition to the doctors, nurses and rehab specialist. The NFL home for aged quarterbacks also has a sports agent on staff.

The other thing is if Peterman is ready to go after this year from his injury he should have no problem beating out Rivera so there is another improvement..

OMG - NO!

Why would you want a such a terrible decision making QB - he is the ANTI-Brady.

I would take 2 T.O's over one Favre.
The guy singlehandedly loses games for his team. Sometimes when game is in hand and you could run out the clock with running game he goes and slings an INT or 2.

No to Favre Beans.

I really don't think that is a fair assessment of Brett Farvorer. He has singlehandedly WON multiple games fro the Pack over his illustrious career.

If you think Dallas has a pourous OL, take a look at GreenBay's. Also note that they are on like there 4th RB this year.

J. Walker has been out all year. The guy is playing with NOTHING.

No, I wouldn't want Favrerorer on my team next year (at this time in his career), but let's be fair here, the guy has been a weapon over his career.

I would submit he is deserving of a little more respect than you gave him IMO/FWIW.

My wife is a GB fan (grew up there), so I've seen lots and lots of Packers games over the last decade and a half. My opinion on Favre? He is a heart-breaker. He's a tease. He plays so well one game, and so poorly the next. He'll lead you back from way behind to within reach of a victory, then one stupid decision will waste all of that work and dash your hopes to pieces. I wouldn't want him. Bledsoe is better right now.

we are not the Raiders...I would hate to become the last stop for folks on the way out.

Don't be silly...the Packers will never release Favre...NEVER. He's the only guy who sells tickets in GB.

And while he's older, he's not one of the problems like when we released Aikman...Favre can still play at a high level. He has absolutely nothing around him right now.

As great a QB as Favre has been I would not want him at VR. We need to get younger on offense not older.

YYAAAWWN.... Once again I remind you...Favre will not come to Dallas to back up Bledsoe for 1-2 more seasons.

Bledsoe is the Cowboys QB for 2006 and a good shot for 2007...

These QB threads are getting soo annoying....Come on people...
