It's because they're trying to run a scheme that doesn't work and are frustrated. It's really hard to keep doing what the coaches are telling you to do when you know it doesn't work, and that there is a better way.

Defense is broke.

where was Quinn tonight?

I don't see how a player DOESN'T quit at this point. In today's social media age, all you have to do is log in and see all the chatter about how bad this coaching staff is. All the breakdowns and analysis of how poor of a job they're doing. And you're supposed to come back to work the next day and keep going and buying into the system?

Hope that screaming in the locker room was the team letting the coaches have it.

I think the defense is tired of the Def coordinator. Looks like the def has quit to me. The effort is dreadful.

I think that explains the screams in the locker room. I think they know they could be better.

I dont believe the scheme has anything to do with it. This defense is and has been overrated. They lack the consistent interior push and are pushed around in the ground game as well. This is a player issue. Same at the safety spot.

How long have these players quit on this coaching staff?

I dont think they have now or have in the past. The players know they are just as responsible if not more than the coaches. Hence the screaming Bennett did.

The overrating was done by the GM and coaches. Paying Jaylon Smith big money was a mistake. Kris Richard has not brought about an improved secondary and nobody gets turnovers or makes splash plays

Although this isn't the best D like ever, it's not terrible. The funny thing is, all they need to do is fix DT and S and we might be top 5. However, we just refuse. Very strange stuff. We'll sell the farm for a CB or WR, but won't pay a DT or S more than a plugged nickel. This is exactly backwards of the way of thinking that brings in super bowl contention.

Are we still running all those stupid comeback routes?
