If the top 11 go something like this, who is your guy?

Trade down to 20-22
If not available: M Williams or Josh Simmons
Agree on the trade down.
Id prefer DT Grant over DE Williams but agree with Simmons as the backup plan, provided his medicals check out.

If you’re on the clock with no trade options and the following are taken.

Ward, Hunter, Carter, Jeanty, Membou, Warren, Walker, McMillan, Graham, Campbell are gone and either Johnson/Williams are picked by 11.

Who is the pick?
Sounds like we have been making calls and teams calling us to trade back. I don't believe we will be picking at 12, unless 2 QB's go in front of us.

No chance they do that trade though - either one
Why? They need a 2 wr... even if they dont resign him. they have the 2 they need right now. They are moving down... Id bet money on that, so why not move down and get extra picks? and get the 2 wr that you now dont need to draft this year?

Is Hampton just not on everyone's radar? Why wouldn't he be a good pick? Are all of you thinking of just getting a RB in the 2nd or 3rd?
Position value. Hampton is very good, but not a value pick with who else would be on the board at 12. The only RB worthy of that is Jeanty, especially in a draft so full of RB's, If we were able to trrade down and pick Hampton later, that'd be fine. Otherwise, you take the better player at a different position (be it OL DL or CB). Hampton is not close to the12th best player in this draft, so it would be a reach,

There is a very real argument that if Dak’s cap hit goes… we may vastly improve.

I would probably take the much younger Sanders on a 5 year deal plus $45M in cap space over Dak if there was anyway out of that cap hit/dead money.

Taking Sanders may work if you could swing a Denver/Wilson situation cap wise.
oh stop it with that cap stuff. its so old and debunked so many times, nobody else is saying it any more.
and no, this is not a defense of Dak. its just that the cap thing is the biggest BS!!!
was the cap an issue when Dak's cap hit was 17M? or 19M? or 21M?

and we had 15M on the cap last year and didn't spend it. we had 25M the year before and 20M the year before that. and now we had 70M on the cap this year and now have 38M left... so how is this cap space supposed to improve the team....that's the mystery that nobody can point to.

I am sure you are going to say the 38M is for Parsons, but smart cap management would spend about 15M this year on parsons cap hit and still have 23M cap space...

so again, how does having a cap space improve the cowboys? solve the mystery and tell me why we didn't do it the past 4 years.

again, not defending dak. he needs to improve, but the cap is not the issue.

yeah, that 50 yard passing game was fantastic display of improvement

but its funny, you moved away from your other line of 7-2 under rush....
4-4 with Rush is better than 3-5 with Dak.

Sorry bout it.

Rush even had the better numbers so you Dak over Dallas fans can’t use your regular go to attacks.

Oh and Dak quit on you. Rush didn’t.

Cooper Rush owns Dak fans forever.

Can you list the remaining players?

yeah. 49 yards is so much better.

but I do give rush one thing, he is some luck on his side, like the Commanders game, scoring to special teams returns and their kicker missing two kicks. and the tampa game, defense saving his arse. so sometimes you have to side with luck,

but sorry, I know you have memory of a fly and this was more than 30 words and it was actual football stuff that tends to really confuse you.

I love how the OP immediately says "IF YOU CANT TRADE...who's your pick"

And then literally every other knob in here is all "uhhhhjh, I'd do a small trade down and then take xxxxx" LOL

Stay wrong, Dak fan.

Bye now.

Mike Green IF he just got a bad wrap (I have to assume the NFL has a good feel whether he's a POS or not)

If he's a POS, then Kennith Grant maybe (Walter Nolen is so boom or bust), or Mykel Williams if he wasn't picked at 11.

Coleston Loveland might be the best receiver in this draft, even though he's a TE

I know right?

It’s the reason I started the thread. Jerry might have to make a pick here and it’s not a layup.

Everyone is just… we’ll just trade back, get another top 100 pick and draft another CeeDee Lamb. Lol.
