What a spare post, Twodeep. If you ain't got better than that why even show up to post at all?

Danny White is a "King of the NFC Championship losers??

You still holding onto that drivel mythology?

If the Cowboys get a stop on Montana then White is a hero forever. His defense fails him and that makes him a loser.

Good gawd..amazing that ignorance like that is allowed to live on and perpetuate itself?

Then please educate me on the NFC Championship game he won to move on to the Super Bowl. Then I will let that "mythology" go.

Yes, it is amazing how ignorance lives on.

Danny White doesn't fumble and Montana's legend doesn't start in 1981. Twenty-five yards and a field goal and we are golden.

But I bet you're the type who looks at the Giants game this year and blames the defense and ignores the turnovers.

i agree ypa is the most important stat of all. check aaron rodgers. he is playing the best football i have seen in a LONG time. high ypa and low %int. his offensive line is the worst in football and he is doing INCREDIBLE things. peyton has only been sacked twice....

i don't think romo has ever played as well as freaking matt schuab is right now.

I just checked Rodgers stats and they are sick. 9.3 YPA, 11-2 TD to Int ratio while getting sacked 25 times in 6 games is off the charts good.

Unfortunately it's also completely unsustainable. He won't last 6 more games if they don't start protecting him better. Even if he remains healthy, his numbers are sure to take a huge dip.

OMT - Some of those 25 sacks have to go on him. Had avoided half those with throw aways his numbers wouldn't be quite so outstanding but his team would've benefited.

You're killing me with the 1981 flash backs. How about 15 yards and Septein lining up for a 52 yarder for the win. I'd have taken that, he was money back then.

But I can't kill Danny for that. I always felt we should've run Dorsett on that next play after Person's long grab.
He was killin it or us that day. Plenty of time left to not totally abandon the run. It certainly would've caught the Niners off guard.

Danny didn't have to fumble, but he had little chance to avoid that sack. He did have a great game that day.

He's a feast or famine player, his consistency is what is in question, not his talent.

1. I ask tough questions of Tony Hollywood. That doesn't make me a hater.

2. The yardstick here has been set much higher than regular season stats. We'll leave that to No Danny, No White, the King of the NFC Championship losers.

3. This isn't about Marino, or Jim Kelly or anyone else. This is about Romo and winning it all.

If you are in the game for stats, that is why they made fantasy football.

Me, I'm in it for the trophies.

When Romo is on like yesterday, he is nearly unbeatable. He needs to deliver that game when making the play-offs is on the line. Then he needs to deliver that type of effort until he wins the last game of the tourney.

This is Dallas, not Detroit.

But notice this. Romo made an exceptional play to score right before the half. Yet he protected the ball and didn't turn it over in the passing game.

All the Let Tony Be Tony comments ignore that he did exactly what they wanted him to and yet still performed a miracle to be Tony when it counted.

He doesn't have to make highlight plays but once in a while. But he does have to protect the ball all of the while.

That is what us "HATERS," are saying.

Protect the ball and be Superman only when there is no other choice.

No arguing this. It's what we all want. But you have to realize that turnovers are not the worst thing in football.

Teams that lose the TO battle don't lose 100% of the time. Teams that score fewer point do.

1st down INTs are killers
Pick 6's are killers
4th Q INTs are killers

Romo's been better at picking his spots than he's been given credit for. Last year's Raven's game and this year's Giants game are more the exception than the rule.

I keep saying it and hope people start getting it. The ultimate team game is football where players rely heavily on those around them. No QB has ever won a championship by himself
So you'd be okay with Quincy at QB then right? it won't be on him but the team if we fail.

i'm not ragging on anyone....

romo is by far my favorite player and i may not take any other qb in the league over him. he does things no other qb can do. i'm just saying right now, there are a good amount of qb's playing better 6 games into the season.

He never does .... his hate blinds him.

maybe this'll open his eyes or maybe make him dig out his eyeballs. I think Romo should be given some more cash. Yup a contract extension already. Eli got one.

I'm not understanding the point of this thread....all 4 QB's have their strong points

Eli has the most TD's
Tony has the highest yards and Rating
Donovan has the fewest INT's (1)
Jason has the highest completion %

All 4 with ratings within 10 points........

I look at the individual play of the QB to judge the QB and Romo skill level is head and shoulders above QC. In terms of winning a championship that is a team accomplishment not a one man accomplishment. No QB has ever done it without great people around them. Troy has a ring and 2 other HOF played in the backfield with him and an OL that had some of the best in the league. You want to buy into you judge a QB by his rings be my guest but there are some avg QB in terms of skill that have rings and some of the all time great QB's who don't.

ok, let me rephrase. he is middle of the pack of the below average to elite quarterbacks. there are like 5 absolutely terrible quarterbacks at the bottom of the list.

So he is in the middle of the pack of elite QB's. What is your beef? Are you Kitna's mom or something?
