The Cowboys have been predicted by many people to be a playoff team. The Seahawks were considered a possible SB team last season and have remained largely intact, Denver just beat the snot out of the Chiefs.

So if the Commanders lose to Sea and Den, I wouldnt call the season over at that point.

Of course it wouldn't be over... to think that way is completely ridiculous, every bit as ridiculous as thinking the Raiders are gonna destroy the Cowboys... this guy is just trolling, plain and simple...

The Eagles play 4 out of the next 5 games on the road.

The Giants play the 6 of the last 8 games of the season against NFC opponents. And potentially good teams.

The Cowboys play 6 out of the next 7 against some tough teams.

I wasnt saying that the Commanders had an easy schedule by any means. I was stating that all of the NFCE has some potential issues in the near future.

You said, look at the divisions schedules. Last I looked, your in our division are you not? By the way, we will have one Eagles game out of the way here shortly, and we have the luxury of playing KC and DEN at home, and we got the road win versus the Chargers. Stirring the pot? Did I say that the Commanders arent in the Division ? I dont think I did. I was trying to point out to him simply that all of the NFC East team will have some tough games ahead of them. As to not discourage him. Meaning the Commanders have as good of a chance as anybody.

I know you dont consider me a troll. You and I have our debates from time to time. And we are both confident (although sometimes blindly on both sides) of or respective teams upside.

He may be trolling. I havent read his post history. But this thread does seem to be trollish (if thats a word).

I hate to see fans give up so easily. You should have seen the Jets major board over the last few days. Insane. Anything can happen.

Hell Quincy took the Cowboys into the playoffs, King took the Bucs into the playoffs, Dilfer won a SB. You just never know.

Anyway, How do you feel about the Eagles and Pats so far this season ?

I'd be extremely scared this weekend if I were a Dallas fan.

Will the players have their hearts in it anymore if they lose big? I am not talking a loss like 31-20. More like 45-3. Will the coaching staff feel like coaching anymore? Will they just go through the motions? Will the fans give up? Remember the Green Bay game last year? This is year 3 of Bill Parcells' tenure. Fans will want to know why Dallas still seems to be searching for answers.

It is entirely possible that the end is near.

All signs point to a rout of Dallas. A lucky win last Sunday must make them complacent. Oakland is feeling terrible. They are 0-3. But not at all as bad as they look. They've got good receivers. They've got a servicable QB.

And, Randy Moss licking his chops when he sees tape of Dallas's big play prone secondary.

Probably no more or less than a Commanders, Giants or Eagles loss. Actually a loss by "1" points hurts just as much or maybe more than a big numbers loss.

Coaches, and players are porfessional enough to withstand a setback of any caliber -- they factor-in less than perfect seasons and go from there. True dedicated Cowboy fans will no more give up on their team than any Other die-hard fan. That's a borderline rediculous statement RSO!
