Said it didn’t matter if Tom Brady came here because of this defense last season, what would you say now? I don’t think he would be retiring, the only difference is Moore would be gone next season as a HC and we would be…

If TB12 came here this year he might've been good for cleaning up 3-4 of the 14 penalties we had in the playoff game.

Brady would not have excelled or survived behind this Oline, O-Coordinator or WRs. Brady is a pure pocket passer who needs good pocket protection at all times. If he feels there is a weak link or two in his Oline, he tends to dink and dunk with quick short route passes which our O-Coordinator struggles to design open and our WRs either struggle to get open at the hike of the ball or they drop passes.

And?

The Rams went all in this year and last year in overpaying for a bunch of top veteran players at many key positions. Good luck to them in the next year or two when they end up being in such a hole so deep, they will have to cut many of those key veterans while it will take years to not only rebuild the team but also balance out their salary cap.

That 4 seed has an elite QB who is good enough to overcome a poor o'line, one that is worse than what Dak had. For Dak it's nothing but more excuses.
What a bunch of baloney.

According to PFF, the Rams Oline finished 2021 ranked 7th best overall. The Cowboys 1st.

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2021-offensive-line-rankings

This after the Rams Offense finished ranked 9th best in total average (run+pass) compared to the Cowboys at 1st.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team...2/table/passing/sort/netYardsPerGame/dir/desc

So let's stop with the lies that the Rams had a poor Oline, which is not true. I've never seen such a "fan base" lie so much for other teams/players while berating its own.

I disagree. As much as Dak is talented, he has trouble reading defenses quickly and hasn't mastered fooling them. Brady is more skilled at that...this o-line would have held on long enough for Brady to deliver quick strikes. I also think the offense would be ran different with Brady instead of Dak.

That being said, with all of the penalties I doubt that it would have made too much of a difference.

Disagree. Dak has played against and read defenses well many times, especially in his early years. Just rewatch some of those first 4 seasons. Many fans would complain and refer to Dak as a dink-n-dunk QB who didn't have the talent to become an effective and accurate vertical passer (which he proved those naysayers wrong).

In recent years, this Offense has gotten away from a quick passing attack and gone much more vertical, thus more deep and longer developing routes. With this Oline's struggles to consistently give Dak and our WRs time needed, I don't understand why Kellen Moore didn't go back to a more quick striking Offense?

Bengals....... Thats who I was talking about. By the way, if Dallas' o'line was the best in the NFC as you just said, why are you constantly giving Dak the poor o'line excuse?
They will always find excuses for inepto Dak......

Year 7 coming up and he's almost 30 years old with 1 playoff win to his name.
Reality......

We've seen the games. We've seen how this Oline gets no push, gets beat and has struggled to get Zeke and Pollard running with better results. Everyone has seen this. This Offense became 1-dimensional (only pass effective) due to how poor our rushing attack became, opposing Defenses would only rush 4 while dropping 7 into coverage. That's why they stopped our Offense thanks to our Oline.

And for the record, the Bengals would not have made it to the SB if Tannehill had not thrown that division game away for the Titans.

BURROW STILL HAD TO THROW A KEY PASS TO GET INTO FG POSITION............. Blame it on Tannehill all you want, but Burrow was clutch when he needed to be. Dak wasn't.

Did you not watch the game yesterday? Burrow was running for his life damn near the entire game because his o'line is god awful. Stop making excuses for Dak and start questioning his desire and passion.

Dak doesn't have the pedigree to read a defense and get rid of the ball quickly and accurately. He has a slow release too which compounds things. When playing the NFC east teams he has a lot more time than playing teams outside the division. You watch the playoff games and those QBs are under constant pressure and it's all about who can make plays.

You're hate is so extreme, it blinds you. Plus, your knowledge of the game is very poor.

During yesterday's game, Burrow only got sacked 1 time and only committed 1 INT while his Offense garnered almost 130 yards running the ball. Mahomes got sacked 4 times while committing 2 very costly INTs that gave the ball to the Bengals at midfield and better. INTs and sacks is what hurt Mahomes and the Chiefs since Mahomes passed for more yards and had better rushing results from his RBs.

The same bad luck is what cost the Titans from beating the Bengals the week before during the divisional playoff game.

Dak and the Cowboys lost to the 49ers due to Dak getting sacked 5 times, our lack of rushing garnering only 77 yards with Dak running for 27 of those yards and our Offense committing an NFL playoff record 14 penalties, all while the 49ers rushed for 168 yards, committed no turnovers and Garoppolo never got sacked even though he only passed for 172 yards.

You're hate for Dak is so blinding you and most others that you're unable to realize what truly cost the Cowboys to lose to the 49ers. It's even blinding you all to realise why the Titans and the Chiefs lost to the Bengals as well. That's nothing to take away from Burrow because he is good, but he and his Bengals would not have advanced this far if their opponents had not committed so many mistakes and costly turnovers. The same goes for the Cowboys.

Over the cap has them 14 million over compared to Dallas’ 21 million over. The problem is Von and OBJ aren’t signed for next year. So they won’t have to cut a bunch of guys but they may not be able to resign their big acquisitions.

Chiefs lost because they refused to run the ball against a 3 man rush. The sacks were because no one was open and eventually Mahomes had to run around after a DL broke free. It wasn’t like Connor Williams getting beat at the snap.

It was like watching Kellen fall in love with his pass plays which is what’s been Andy Reid’s kryptonite at times since Philadelphia.

Woods comes back at WR, so they are fine there.
Miller is nearing retirement
