If we are up big vs. the Skins on Thursday, does Romo play?

I only ask because I think we can smoke them pretty good. They have to play the Pack tonight and it wont get over until almost midnight. Then they have to play us on Turkey Day with only about 3.5 days rest. Travel to Big D and I don't think they'll have their legs at all. SO......we get up by 3 TD's or so midway through the 4th (let's say it's 31-10) do you put him in? I would as well as Morris.

Just let them get some PT in case we need them in the playoffs. It isn't about anything but that. Being prepared in case Dak or Zeke is hurt or sick in the playoffs. Can't expect TR to come in and do much after not playing all season. Same with the Tampa game...possible we could get up big. The other games vs. Minny, Giants, Lions and Philly will probably be close enough that it won't be a consideration.

Wow! Very interesting question.... never even occurred to me. Not sure what we'd do.

I really do not believe the coaches will do romo the disrespect and make him do mop up duty. romo has done to much for his team to playing at the end of blowouts unless he starts and he finishes one.

He needs to play in that situation. That is no disrespect, he still hasn't gotten any work in, and we're a late hit away from him playing. If he's too good to play in any capacity other than starter then he don't need to be on the active roster.

I know it feels like disrespect but any snaps Romo can get are worth it. He hasn't played now in over a year and we may need him. I think Romo needs to look at it this way.

I don't see any way this is a blowout, but if it were, maybe the final possession or two, but that's it.

Nope, Romo will not see the field even if up 42-0. However, this game is always close usually.

I just hope you Americans don't have your Thanksgiving spoiled like last year.

gonna watch their game pretty closely tonight, but I think we're in for a let down on turkey day. short week coming off a very physical win and it's against a division rival

Along these lines, the thought just occurred to me. What if we wrap up home field advantage early? Does Romo get a start or significant playing time in the last game? That would be cray cray...

Or avoid it altogether and play Sanchez instead?

Exactly this. When Dak got hit late out of bounds today and landed awkwardly on his shoulder it got me thinking: what if? I don't want to be playing the Giants or Seahawks and have to rely on Sanchez....Tony is great, but no one is so great they can come in after a year and a half off and pick right up where they left off. It's a completely legit concern and question IMO. I absolutely think he and Morris should play against ANY remaining opponents if possible.

I mean....think about it man. SANCHEZ instead? That's just a god awful thought. Gotta get Tony some game action guys. Perception be damned.

Yes romo needs to play. He needs real game reps, even if it's garbage time.
