I think we will finish 10 - 6 with possible losses at the Giants and Falcons

Reasons.....

I think the lame giants will play us like there is no tomorrow, so it will be a touch game. This game is winnable but it will be very very difficult

Vick will likely run against us and he will pass. I see this game as a trap game.

IF we beat the giants I see us maybe losing one game the rest of the season.

I do not have a particular team in mind for that loss but I just can see us having a bad game and dropping one IF we lose to the giants.

Only team I'm really worried about is the Giants, so I agree with the original poster. They're gonna be tough to beat, no matter how good we're currently playing and how bad they're currently playing.

I'm not really worried about th Falcons or Saints. We match up very well with the Falcons, IMO. We are very good against the run, and Vick and those WR's are incapable of exploiting probably our biggest defensive weaknesses, the safeties. As for the Saints, they're playing pretty bad right now and I personally think they're going to continue to play bad and finish 8-8. Drew Brees is awesome, and he worries me, but he's gonna have to put up 30+ on our defense (without a running game) because our offense is gonna shred their terrible D made up of Cowboy outcasts.

hello everyone..i trust everyone had a great thanksgiving.

hope everyone is safe and sound.

my question to you all is this:

if we roll into the meadowlands and destroy the giants, do you think we run the table and finish 12-4?

the way this team has come together around romo reminds me a hell of alot like the 92 team.

we have stayed pretty much injury free except for ellis.

we have way more depth than any team in the nfl.

vanderclank is the weakest link......goodbye.

this is an exciting time for us all that we have not felt in years.

i think we will crush eli and that punk plaxico and really show the nfl who the hell is in charge of things.

thoughts?

lane.

if we run the table it would remind me of 1971. We were 4-3 with Morton and Landry made the switch to Staubach and we won 7 straight to finish 11-3.

Ok Staubach also had some time during the first 7 games then so it is not a perfect correlation, but it is still very similar.

IMO, how hard the Gnats play the Cowboys will depend on what happens this Sunday in Tenessee... I'm kind of hoping the Giants squeak that one out vs. the Titans just so they can save face and not treat the Cowboy game as a must win do or die situation... First place tiebreaker to kickoff the first week of December would be totally awesome... Game of the week!

Give me two things...

1. A win.

2. James sticking Shockey ala Alstott.

...and I'm a happy camper.

If we beat the Giants I say we will run the table and barring injury I believe we will go deep into the playoffs.. unless another team in the NFC catches on fire there is really no team in the conference that scares me other than the Bears... We will see how Romo does the 2nd time around versus a decent defense in the Giants, he really hasnt faced a dominant D all year other than his first game vs NY.. they were playing at a very high level then

All of these teams will have something to play for so we will have to have our "A" game. In addition, the Giants and the Falcons are on the road, and it is hard to win an NFL game on the road. However, I think we are capable of doing it if we stay injury free, and Roma keeps playing at a high level.

I dont see the giants game being as difficult as you guys think. They are in poor shape and they are dealing with alot of key injuries. The bottem line is we have a better team than they do. The key to this game ( as all the other games the cowboys have lost) is eliminating mistakes, no turnovers, and reduce penalties. The Cowboys have played good football over the last five games and their four wins were due to minimal mistakes, 2 turnovers, and reduced penalties. That lost to the Commanders was the result of too many penalties.

The giants is a team in disarray and I cant stress enough how their injuries has taken a toll on thier team and change the make-up of how they play. Tiki would have to have a HUGE game in order for the cowboys to lose and Romo would have to have throw 3 more ints, and that is something that we cant even fathom at this point.

I can be objective in my views and if there was one team to concern myself with it would be the saints because they can score at will and have alot of playmakers on offense. But the re-emerngence of our D may slow them down and gives me pause to think they would actually lose that game.

The giants probably will beat the titans because they will get back to the basics by running the offense thru tiki. The titans did get haynesworth back so he should help their run defense but the giants have enough weapons to beat them as long as they stay with the run and keep shockey involved. Although the titans have been playing well of late, there is a reason why they are 3-7. Young is not a good passer and I think the giants have more to play for so look for them to win this game. Not with ease but still win.

One last thing. If you take a close look at all the Cowboys games this season you will see that we have not "loss" a game this season. What I mean by that is we have not been outplayed or faced a team that was simply better than we were. Each one of our "losses" have come from the Cowboys beating themselves through turnovers or penalties. What Romo has shown this team is if they play good solid football for four quarters and trust the game plan of the caoches then they win. Jaguars lost ( bledosoe 3 picks), Eagles lost (bledsoe 3 picks,1fumble), Giants ( 4 ints), Commanders lost ( 15 penalties)....come on guys lets just think about who we will play in the playoffs and hope we can stay injury free (knock on wood).

We have the better team and it will show next sunday and dont look forward to the giants losing to the Titans because they do still have enough for them, just not us.
