If we clinch the division this weekend...

Another interesting question, if the Giants beat the Jets at 1pm, the Eagles game has absolutely no meaning to us. Do we rest our starters against Philly?

That's a tough one -- as some have noted, there is still the possibility of landing a wildcard, but it's such a remote possibility. But still a possibility...

If it was my choice, I would say yes, rest the starters. Focus solely on winning the division in Week 17 because I think that is a very winnable game.

We did that against the Commanders a while back and it threw us off.

I think we either need to go full tilt or not go at all.

Playing a half is a bad idea imo.

It's not just a bad idea, it's totally idiotic. Expose your starters to injury in the first half AND guarantee you lose the game by pulling your starters in the second half? All in the name of getting the starters 30 more minutes of game experience? Yeah, sure.

Would you rest the Starters against the Giants?

I would love to give the team a week off and I really don't see any advantages of going full tilt against the Giants but our team is so rusty after they get any time off that I don't know if we should play'em or sit'em.

What would you do?

No.

Even if we've clinched you play it out to beat them and keep momentum going into the playoffs.

We did this in 2007 where they basically rested players in the final game and it came back to bite us in the butt.

It did the same thing for the Colts a couple years ago when they decided to rest players for the last couple meaningless games (well they wouldn't have been if they decided to persue perfection) and it bit them too.

No reason to give up momentum by sitting people. If you can get people some extra reps in the course of the game, allowing some key players to not play as much, you do it.
