if we dont win the NFC East, who will? (good question from extremes)

i think we will, but if we dont, i would have to pick Philly, but i have to admit i dont feel too confident about it :starspin

'Gints, the Iggles aren't going to survive the season (heck I'm not sure we will). The 'Skins are frauds that will, at best, end up at 7-9. The Giants seem to have a good range of weapons and an alright QB, in the real world they take the wildcard, Dallas wins the East, plus a bye going into the playoffs.

Philly is the King of the Hill until someone knocks them off.

And knocked off doesn't mean October 9th. It means late December when the Eagles are mathematically unable to win the division.

I think if Dallas wins at Seattle, and then AZ, and are at 6-2 going into the bye, they will be in a position going into the Monday night game in Philly to basically knock them out of the picture. I figure the Eagles will lose at least one, if not 2 games leading up the Cowboys game. That would put them at 5-3 (or 4-4 if they lose 2). If we beat them again we'd be 7-2 and they'd be 5-4 (or 4-5), with the tie breaker. That's pretty much a 3 game advantage, or if we're lucky 4 games. This weekend at Seattle I think is the key. It's a must win if the Cowboys want to maintain control of this division and set themselves up for a run.

Well lets beat Seattle first. I wannna see how we take care of LT. And I wanna see if that solution works out. And we could easily lose in AZ, because that's just the way the NFL is

I thought we played Arizona at home. But I agree one game at a time. Lets concentrate on Seattle because that will be a tough game for us.

see to me i think the giants are the pretenders and the skins pretty much the real deal with there defense and santana moss. I think we finish 11-5, Eagles 11-5 , skins 9-7, Giants 7-9

We are home against the cards.

If we head into the bye with a 5-3 then I think we are still looking good for the div title. Of course 6-2 would be better because the schedule after the bye gets difficult.

I think the division comes down to McNabbs health. This may sound crazy but if he can't las the season they are done and this div. is wide open.

The Eagles, like the Cowboys, are having injury problems. Their depth is suspect now unlike other years. Even with a throw-to-run philosophy they do not seem to run the ball well at all. But, until McNabb is seen as unable to perform, you have to give them the edge on the division. I also think the skins are for real but not quite there yet.

I put the division as Eagles, Cowboys, skins, and Giants but all bunched up between 10-6 and 8-8. Injuries will tell the story.

Let's see how we do on the road in our division. We have played all three division games at home, and should be 3-0. So, we have to steal one on the road to make up for the Skins game. I think Philly could be in trouble again this week against the Chargers, and the Bronco's will be a tough home game for the Giants. Hey, at least 6 games in we are actually having a conversation again about the possibility of winning the division. Things are positive!

The Giants should have to play that game in Denver, to give back the extra home game they got against NO.

By the way, why aren't we playing NO, if the Giants did ? Are they not playing Arizona or something ?

come on guys stick to the original question, IF we dont win the NFC EAST WHO WILL? i dont wanna hear about what our record should be going into the bye. its irrelevant.

I don't know but I am glad we aren't. Seems like they have had our number here lately. We haven't beat them since 1994.

The Giants and the Saints were second in their respective divisions, so they play eachother. That's why we play Carolina. We play NFC West, AFC West, and third place teams from NFC North and South.
